I feel wonderful now
Warmth fills my heart
The worries that I had in life
Are no longer taking part
I look back sometimes
For it no longer stings
It reminds me that I'm happy now
And I can start forget about those things
Because I'm changing lately
I'm awake enough to tell
The sun seems to shine; every day a bit brighter
I laugh when I'm alone now and life's a little lighter
I surprised myself today with a smile in the mirror
It's been so long since I was joyful but now I have no fear
The places that I choose to land my feet
Are never distant from I'm going
The path used to be so scary
Now it's a treat and it has something to do with knowing
Knowing that I'm happy; nothing can bring me down
Knowing the old me is crying loud because the new me is around
Knowing that I'm different - I like the way my life is beginning to sound
Knowing that I'm not alone; I'm with the friends that I've found
