...

Rose walked down the stairs of the loft and immediately met Isaac's eyes. From Roses' harsh stare, he knew was in trouble. His body stiffened as he stood up straight from his leaning position on the table. Rose kept a stone cold expression on her face, while Isaac looked incredibly uneasy.

"Listen before-"

Rose didn't even let him finish before her eyes narrowed and she sneered at him, "You."

Isaac rolled his eyes waiting for her to get everything she had built up over the past few months off her chest. It's been a while since they've argued, and if Isaac knew anything she was definitely going to make up for lost time. But if Isaac was being honest, he did miss it.

She began storming over to him, words flying from her mouth, "Is that what you do? Do you just disappear without saying anything to go on some wild hunt for a man who goes by Death, Destroyer of World? God, you must be stupider than I thought. Do you not realize how much danger you were putting yourself in? I swear to God, Isaac Lahey, if you ever-"

Isaac took her head in his hands and pulled her face close to his, kissing her deeply. The kiss didn't last long as Rose pulled back in complete shock, pushing Isaac away in the process.

"What the hell was that for?" She asked, her tone much more irritated than Isaac anticipated.

"I was just trying to shut you up." Isaac defended.

He had only partially lied about that. He's wanted to kiss her since the day he left. He's missed her so much, more than he wanted to admit even to just himself.

Rose froze, with her mouth open wide and her eyebrows furrowed. She was stunned to say the least. Mixed feelings were swirling around her head, but more importantly there was a heavy presence on her chest.

"Well, that is the last time you'll do that." Derek exclaimed from the staircase, who had watched the entire scene unfold. "Sorry to interrupt." He smirked sarcastically down at the two teenagers.

Isaac's eyes grew to about the size of saucers when he looked at Derek. Rose looked over to her brother and then back to Isaac.

She leaned just a bit closer and whispered, her voice almost inaudible, "Just- please don't ever leave like that again."

"He's on his way," Derek said, trying to change the atmosphere of the room.

"Who is?" Rose asked, obviously missing something that had been exchanged between Isaac and Derek.

"Peter."

Rose looked confused and then inquired, "Why?"

"He's going to try to get some memory back from Isaac." Derek explained.

"Wait...how's he going to do that?" Rose questioned shaking her head slightly. And it then clicked, "Oh no, please tell me you're kidding."

"Unfortunately not." Isaac said from behind her.

"I don't trust him," Rose stated turning around with her arms crossed against her chest and told Isaac, "And I don't think you should either, especially with something like this."

"Look, he's the only one that knows how to do it. I don't. It'd be more dangerous if I tried doing it myself." Derek explained, obviously not a fan of this idea either.

"If both Scott and Rose don't trust him, I'm going to have to agree with them." Isaac said.

"Do you trust me?" Derek raised his eyebrows.
