...

Finally, after a few more hours on the bus, the sun had set and they had arrived at the Glen Capri. A very run down and sketchy motel in Rose's opinion, but there was a bed and she desperately needed sleep.

She stepped out of the bus, and then stood beside Scott and Stiles.

"I've seen worse," Scott shrugged looking at the motel.

Everyone turned their heads to look at him.

"Where have you seen worse?"

Coach then blew his whistle and then began making announcements to the class, "Listen up! The meet's been pushed till tomorrow. This is the closest motel with the most vacancies and least amount of good judgment when it comes to accepting a bunch of degenerates like yourselves. You'll be pairing up- choose wisely."

Coach then began handing out the keys to the rooms.

Isaac immediately grabbed Rose's hand and got in line to get a key. Coach eyed the two carefully and then stated, "And I'll have no sexual perversions perpetrated by you little deviants. Got that?" He glared over at Isaac and Rose, "Keep your dirty little hands to your dirty little selves!"

"I don't like it here." Rose commented after staring up at the building.

Her legs wouldn't move.

"It's just for one night," Isaac chuckled, nudging her playfully.

"It just...it feels heavy," Rose told Isaac, before crossing her arms against her chest.

The place gave a very sad feeling to Rose, something she had already been feeling, but here it was worse. There was something very unsettling about where they were, and all Rose was thinking was how she wanted to leave immediately.

Isaac smelled the sadness that coated over her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. She melted into his chest.

"You'll be okay, Rosie," Isaac whispered before pressing a kiss to her forehead. "Stop by my room later if you need anything."

"Okay," Rose nodded.

"I mean it, anything."

Rose smiled up at him and then began catching up with Allison, who she would be sharing a room with tonight, along with Lydia.

Allison opened the door and the three of them stepped in skeptically.

"Well, I mean it is a motel...we can't really expect a lot from it," Allison stated trying to look on the positive side of things.

Rose frowned slightly before resting her bag on the floor and sitting on the bed. Lydia and Allison immediately noticed how quiet the girl was, but they couldn't blame her. The grieving of the loss from her brother was easily seen by anyone. Allison and Lydia didn't even know how to approach the girl, but they knew that when Rose was ready to talk, about anything at this point, the girls would be there with open arms.

But like most things, Rose likes to suffer in silence. And this silence was violent.

"I'm going to take a shower." Allison told them before picking up a towel. She sniffed it, but it wasn't too hard to smell the nicotine that resigned on the towel. "Oh god, this reeks of smoke."

Lydia stood up from the other bed and said, "I'll get new ones."

Allison then nodded her head toward Rose, gesturing that Lydia should invite her. Frankly, Allison was fearful to leave Rose by herself.

"Rosie, why don't you come with me? We both could use the fresh air." Lydia smiled.

Rose looked up at Lydia and gave her a small smile, grateful for the kind friends that she has.
