...

"You lost them?" Derek bellowed into the phone.

"He what?" Rose exclaimed, her head whipping over to Derek with anger.

Yeah, I kind of had to.

"Wasn't exactly the plan," Derek gritted through his teeth.

I know, which is why I think we should stick together. Trust me, he's too strong, too fast, and way too angry for one person to handle. We've got to do this together.

"Look, I'm at the trails by the entrance to the preserve. Can you meet me here?" Derek sighed in frustration.

Yeah. I just got to drop something off first.

Derek pulled the phone away from his ear, and looked over at Rose. Rose had her perpetual annoyed expression on her face, but this time she looked even more annoyed. Derek knew that it was only because somewhere out in the woods Cora was alive, and both of the Hale siblings knew how important it was to find her.

"We'll find her." Derek reassured.

"Then let's go."

"We have to wait for Scott."

"We can't. Be realistic, Derek." Rose argued, "Our sister is out there, and while we're just standing here, doing nothing, all hell could be breaking loose."

And just like it was on cue, a growl was heard somewhere within the preserve.

"That was her." Derek said, looking over in the direction.

"Cora..." Rose whispered.

Both of the Hale siblings sprinted off to find Cora.

Rose and Derek showed up right as a body collided into a tree. Rose let out a snarl, catching Cora's attention. Cora growled back, readying herself to lunged at Rose, before Derek gave her a warning roar.

That caused Cora to run off into the words, and once again, they were chasing after her.

...

"Are you sure?" Scott asked as he talked on the phone with Stiles.

Yep. Throat ripped out, blood everywhere. It's like the freakin' shining over here. If two little twin girls come out of the woods, start asking me to play with them forever and ever, I'm not gonna be surprised.

Rose crossed her arms across her chest at how overly dramatic Stiles was being.

"Can you get a little closer to make sure it was them?" Scott inquired.

Make sure it was them? Scott, who else is going around ripping throats out?

"Please just do it."

Derek turned over to Isaac and Rose, "This doesn't make any sense. The public pool is all the way on the other side of the woods. We haven't tracked them anywhere near there."

"Derek, they killed someone." Scott pointed out.

"How are they moving so fast?" Rose asked, agreeing with what her brother had said.

"Rose-"

"But they can't be that fast on foot," Derek added interrupting Scott.

"They killed someone. Some totally innocent kid is dead, and it's our fault."

"It's my fault." Derek mumbled

"We need help," Scott nodded.

"We have Isaac now." Derek pointed.
