...
"What the hell do you mean he's checking himself into a nuthouse?" Rose exclaimed sitting up straight in her seat where she sat beside Isaac's bed.
"Exactly that," Scott replied into the phone, startled by the sudden increase in Rose's voice. "I'm on my way to convince him not to, can you meet me there?"
Rose hesitated, her eyes shifting over to Isaac. She hadn't left his side for what felt like days. She knew she had other obligations she was ignoring, but Isaac seemed to be her only priority at this time.
"Rose," Scott spoke again, capturing her attention.
Rose answered, still looking at Isaac as his chest rose and fell slowly, "Yeah...Yeah I'll be right there."
Rose then hung up and leaned over Isaac's body, placing a small kiss on his forehead. She then rested her head on his and whispered softly, "Please wake up."
Rose then slowly exiting the room, where Melissa was on the others ide.
"He's going to be alright, Rosie." She reassured the heartbroken girl.
"How are you so sure?" Rose asked, feeling rather doubtful and letting her pessimistic side show.
Melissa frowned, "I'm not."
That's exactly what Rose thought.
Rose bit down on her lip and then walked off. Not out of anger, but because she wouldn't allow herself to cry in front of Melissa again.
...
"Why didn't you tell me?" Scott asked quickly as soon as he hopped off of his bike.
Rose slammed the door of her car and asked, "Or me?"
Stiles sighed, hoping that this wouldn't happen. But he knew that one of them would've found out eventually and come to stop him.
Sheriff stepped in and stated, "Because we wanted to avoid something like this."
"It's only seventy two hours." Stiles told them, as if that was supposed to make the situation better.
"This is the same place William Barrow came from, you know, the guy who had a tumor inside of him filled with flies." Scott exclaimed and then turned to Sheriff, "You don't know everything yet."
Sheriff shook his head, obviously not in the mood to argue, "I know enough. Nogistunes, Kitsunes Oni, or whatever they're called."
Rose raised her eyebrows, shocked that Sheriff had retained all of this information that they had just discovered for the first time themselves.
"Woah, that was actually all surprisingly correct," Stiles furrowed his eyebrows, obviously surprised as well.
"Scott," Sheriff sighed, "I saw a MRI that looked exactly like my wife's...and it terrifies me. I'm headed down to L.A. tomorrow to talk to a specialist."
"Then why are you putting him here?" Rose asked.
"He's not." Stiles shook his head, and turning to face Rose. "It was my decision."
"And you think that it's a good one?" Rose shot back.
Stiles rolled his eyes, knowing that this is exactly how his friends would react. But he truly thought that this was what's best. He couldn't hurt anyone else. He couldn't put the people he cared about in anymore danger.
"Stiles, we won't be able to help you if you're in here," Scott told him.
"And I can't hurt you," Stiles argued, his eyes looking back and forth between Scott and Rose. "Either of you."
"Deaton's got some ideas. Argent's calling people. We're going to find something, and if we can't..." Scott trailed off, not even knowing what to say anymore.
Stiles finished Scott's sentence by saying, "If you can't... If you can't, then you have to do something for me, okay?"
Scott and Rose nodded nervously before Stiles walked closer to the two of them.
Stiles sighed before locking eyes with them seriously, "Make sure I never get out."
Rose's breath hitched at what he had said and her body stiffened.
She opened her mouth to argue, but she couldn't find anything to say. She knew that nothing that she would say would change what was about to happen.
"And Rose," he began and Rose looked at him pleadingly, "I'm sorry...about Isaac. I'm so sorry."
Rose shook her head, "It wasn't you, Stiles."
Sheriff sighed from behind the three distressed teenagers and rested his hand on Stiles' shoulder, "Come on."
Rose and Scott stood there watching as Stiles entered Echo House, alone and afraid.
The two friends looked at each other with fear and worry in their eyes.
a/n: hi...im really sorry.....please forgive me...
