...
Rose whipped her bedroom door open, staring at the boy she hadn't seen standing in weeks. She looked at him in complete disbelief, like all of this way some sort of sick dream.
He turned around facing the girl, their eyes locking for the first time in what felt like forever.
"Hey babe," he smiled
Her breath caught in her throat. There were no words to come to her mind, nonetheless leave her mouth. The three words that did end up coming out were utterly stupid.
"Are you real?"
"Yeah?" Isaac replied, but it sounded more like a question.
Finally more words began exploding through her mind, and escaping her mouth with no filter. The questions shooting out of her like wildfire.
"Wha-What the hell are you doing here? When did you get discharged from the hospital? Why did no one call me?"
"Relax, babe," Isaac said too causually for Rose's liking. "Look at me, I'm alright...no cuts or burns anymore."
"No- I mean, did you just get up and walk out? Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," Isaac assured her again. "All healed."
Rose sighed, realizing that Isaac was right. He was alive and safe and back with her.
"But I should be asking you that question," Isaac stepped closer to her. "Are you okay?"
"What are you talking about? I'm fine." She told him, crossing her arms stubbornly.
"You look exhausted, Rose. Almost sick...like you're weak." Isaac pointed out observing her face carefully, showing concern.
"I've had a rough...day? Or two." Rose shrugged.
Isaac raised his eyebrows in disbelief.
Rose rolled her eyes and let out a frustrated sigh, "Ok maybe three. I don't know, I'm not really sure." She hesitated again and let out another breath, that she didn't realize she was holding in. "It doesn't matter. What matters, is that you're here, and you're okay. I missed you...Isaac I missed you so much."
Rose quickly went to wrap her arms around him. Something that she had missed all too much.
"I'm so glad you're okay." She whispered into his chest, inhaling his smell.
"Me too." Isaac whispered back, playing with the hem of her shirt.
Their lips moved in sync as he gripped the back of her neck gently pulling her closer, while she moved her hands slowly up his chest until it reaches the top of his shoulder. He used his other hand to grab her lower back and pull her closer to him.
He then slowly brought them over to the bed as he dropped her down slowly, his body falling on top of hers.
He leaned forward once again pressing his lips against hers and her hands roaming his side. The feeling of his weight was so comfortable. Their kiss was passionate, something that they were both wanting for so long.
...
Rose rested her head on Isaac's bare chest as she slowly rubbed circles with her fingers on him. Their breathing in sync as their bodies were intertwined.
"So, what did I miss?" Isaac asked.
"Stiles is possessed, Coach got shot with an arrow, possessed Stiles cut the wire on the hospital roof that electrocuted you and I, Stiles bombed the police station and set my brother up for murder, Aiden and Ethan have been surprisingly helpful, and Deaton temporarily poisoned the demon fox in Stiles' head so he could stop trying to kill everyone while Scott worked on a plan," Rose explained casually. "Just the usual."
It was like Isaac wasn't even listening to her after he heard the names Ethan and Aiden leave her mouth.
"What did the twins do?" Isaac asked.
"They helped Scott and I when the nogistune was pretending to be Stiles." Rose told him, looking up at Isaac knowing very well that the twins were his only concern while he was in a coma. "I know you don't like them-"
"No Rosie, I hate them."
"But I really think they want to be allies with us."
"What's your point?"
"They're trying to be helpful."
"So?"
"So when people try to help, we don't murder them." Rose explained slowly to Isaac.
"Debatable."
"Isaac," Rose scolded.
"I'm kidding," Isaac chuckled pulling Rose closer to her. "I still don't trust them though."
"I know." Rose sighed, knowing very well that Isaac would never be able to trust them.
"But I trust you..." Isaac paused, "And if you trust them, then I guess I can try to trust them too."
