...

Rose crept through the woods at night, keeping her senses alert to her surroundings. She knew that she was being watched, she could feel eyes following her every move, but she ignored them. The cool air sent chills down her spine, and the hairs on the back of her neck stood up sharply.

"Oh Rosie..." someone taunted and she immediately froze like a statue.

She was too fearful to turn around and see who had sung her name.

But again the voice was heard, this time closer.

She took a deep breath and turned around to see Ethan and Aiden with a sinister smile. She tried to remain composed, but they could see right through her.

They looked at each other with a mocking expression, and Rose stood there afraid and clueless as to what they were going to do.

"What would your mother say about you if she knew you were a failed Alpha?" Ethan sneered.

"What about your father?"

Rose's face dropped. She never truly knew who her father was, her mother was the one to raise her. Her mother was the only parental figure in her life, while she didn't even know her father's name. He was completely absent. But without a father figure, Rose did grow up with this emptiness. She tried to look up to Peter as a father figure, but the man was too evil to be a father to Rose.

A flame then sparked in Aiden's hand and before she realized it, Ethan was storming up to her. He gripped her hands behind her back, and for some reason she was completely helpless. She couldn't find the strength to fight back.

"Easier than I thought," Ethan chuckled deviously.

Aiden slowly walked up to her, the flame coming closer to her face.

"You should've died in that fire." He stated.

Rose let out a scream as she tried to pull away Ethan's arms.

"Now get ready to burn!"

"No!" She shouted back, "No!"

Rose thrashed at the hands that were trying to hold her down, telling her to be quiet and to calm down. But she kept fighting, even while she was asleep.

"Rosie," she heard again this time louder.

When her eyes finally opened she was looking directly into Isaac's worried ones. She awoke with a gasp sitting straight in bed, Isaac's hands still rested on her shoulders.

She looked around frantically to her surroundings. Beads of sweat were dripping down the side of her head and tears fogged her vision, but she refused to let them fall.

"Rosie, it's alright." Isaac said his hands rubbing up and down her arms after noticing her panicked and shaken state.

Tears began to roll down her cheek as she looked around frantically, still trying to catch her breath and comprehend what had just happened.

She sobbed, "They...they know I'm here."

Isaac quickly gathered her broken self in his arms, putting the pieces of Rose back together just by holding her. She's never cried in front of anyone, and being this vulnerable in front of Isaac Lahey was not something she ever wanted to happen.

"It was just a dream," he whispered, as he tried to reassure her unsteady body that was struck by fear.

It felt so real to Rose, but Isaac's comforting actions brought her back and she felt at harmony again.
