...

Rose stared blankly at the chalkboard in front of her. Her hands using all the strength they had to keep her head up. Her eyes were blinking slowly, opening and closing heavily.

The bell rang suddenly, startling Rose in the process. Though she was already in the classroom, Coach was still nowhere to be found. That is until everyone began to hear him shout from his office as he walked into the classroom. His voice was too much for Rose at the moment.

"Ten thousand dollars? They pulled an arrow out of my stomach. What did they do? Fill it up with diamonds?" He exclaimed, "All right, fine. What... Okay just send me the bill. Fine!" He hung up the phone, slamming it on the desk.

He then faced the class of alarmed and confused students, some of which had smirks on their faces with amusement.

"Ok, listen up kids. Today we're- Woah Rose," Coach gasped looking over at Rose's exhausted appearance. "You look like you need a shower."

"I showered this morning." Rose stated blankly, annoyance evident in her voice.

"Then maybe a nap." He suggested and then continued, "Alright today...so today we're going to discuss- You know what? Today we're going to discuss the corrupt institution of health care."

"Um coach..." someone interrupted, "We have an unexpected guest."

Rose turned her head to look where the student was pointing and saw Meredith standing there. She had been staring directly at Rose the entire time, her face still stone cold.

Rose immediately faced Kira who had the same panicked expression on her face.

"Call Scott," Rose ordered.

Kira fumbled with her phone while Coach tried to address the issue at hand.

Kira's voice on the phone with Scott distracted me, "She's here. In Coach's class. And you need to get here too. Like, right now."

"Sweetheart...sweetheart. Do you want to tell me which insane asylum you escaped from?"

"Coach," Rose spoke up, "Insane asylum isn't proper terminology anymore."

Coach looked at Rose with deadpanned expression, and then let out a sigh, "Okay... sweetheart what...what nuthouse did you escape from?"

Rose pursed her lips together while shaking her head, "Not any better."

"Eichen House." Meredith answered.

"Wanna tell me what you're doing so far from there?"

"Trying to help. I can hear them. They scream."

"That's got to be terrifying." Coach replied in a not so sympathetic matter, "What, uh... Why do they scream?"

"They scream when someone's about to die."

"Are they screaming right now? How many of them?"

Meredith then looked directly at Rose, "All of them."

Rose reached for Kira's hand and pulled her out of the room, waiting for Scott to show up before anyone from Eichen House did.

Minutes passed, which felt like hours, but still no Scott.

"Ugh, where is he?" Rose groaned tapping her foot impatiently.

"He said he was on his way... he should be here any minute." Kira said, her voice timid, almost as if she was afraid of Rose.

Everyone knew that Rose had been like a ticking time bomb lately. And no one was sure when she was going to explode, but everyone had been acting very cautious around her.
