...
Rose woke up in the large loft that once didn't feel so empty. But there was someone next to her that filled her with so much light. Isaac was still peacefully sleeping beside her, soft snores were heard from him and his chest was rising and falling slowly. She smiled down at him wanting nothing more than just to lay back down with him, but she knew that they both had school.
She sighed before swinging her legs over her bed and stepping onto the cool wooden panels of her floor. As she got ready for school she thought about what her life would've been like if she had left with Derek. It seemed like a fantasy to her. Her life was here; she couldn't imagine leaving Beacon Hills. She looked into the reflection of the mirror where she could see Isaac. She couldn't leave him either.
She got up from her vanity after getting dressed and walked over to Isaac. She then grabbed a pillow and threw it directly at his face.
Isaac was startled as he jolted up in bed. Rose let out a light giggle at Isaac's spastic movement. Isaac looked up at the girl after recovering from his small heart attack.
"Oh, you're going to get it." He warned before grabbing her waist and throwing her on the bed.
He then rolled over to fall on top of her.
He pressed his lips to hers and Rose smiled in the kiss.
"Ew, you have morning breath." She commented smiling up at him.
Isaac smirked smugly, "It's kind of hot though, right?"
Rose rolled her eyes at let out a scoff, before pressing her hands to his chest and pushing him off of her.
"C'mon we have school."
...
Rose shut her locker door before walking down the hallway to her first class. But one thing caught her attention before turning down the other hall: Allison stumbling through the doors at the end of the hall, her eyes wide and face completely frightened.
Lydia must've noticed as well, because she quickly walked up to Rose before the two girls quickly made their way over to their friend.
"Allison," Rose spoke carefully staring directly at the girl as she stood in front of her, "Are you okay?"
Allison's eyes shot up to her, but her face was still as scared as before. It was a ghostly white while her bottom lip trembled, as she tried to find the words to say.
"It's happening isn't it?" Lydia asked slowly, "The side effects that Deaton was talking about."
Allison swallowed hard before nodding slowly.
Rose looked between the two girls with a confused expression on her face. She was clearly out of the loop.
"Side effects from what?" Rose asked furrowing her eyebrows.
