My eyes refused to open. I could not remember when I had been more tired. I forced my eyes open and sat up on one shakey elbow. I focused through the darkness and saw her form across the room. I reached up and pulled back the curtain on the four poster bed.

Her voice was cheerful, "Hello, my Prince."

"Why do you keep calling me that?" I moaned and fell back on the bed, my head spinning.

"Because you are my Prince," she laughed and bounced on the bed. I moaned. I felt as if I was hung over. "You are feeling bad," she laid across my chest. I put my hand over my eyes and nodded. "You need to feed," she whispered near my face. "I will care for you," she kissed me softly and slowly moved her body over mine. Her skin was warm and something deep inside me, woke up with a start. "Be careful," she giggled and I relaxed my grip on her arms. "That's the hunger," she said softly and kissed my lips. Anna put her hand under my head and pulled me close. "Drink," she urged, putting my face near her neck.

What the hell was I supposed to do?

I had no idea what she was telling me. No idea HOW to bite someone. The mere idea of drinking blood sounded disgusting.

I started kissing her neck, willing my brain to just STOP and my worries to go away. I had drank from my father, Michael. It was obvious that I some how knew what I was suppose to do. But this was Anna! Sweet Anna. Virginal Anna. How could I do that to her? She was so delicate, so fragile. What if I hurt her? What if I killed her?

Her laughter woke me from my thoughts. She pushed on my chest, "Come on now. I'm not going to break."

I opened my mouth to protest, but she laid her neck over my lips. Something stung inside my stomach and my fangs pierced her. There was the love, once again. The warm, radiating heat passing through my body. A calm passed through me, then that pulsing power rush.

I growled and flipped her on her back. I tore open the lace robe she wore and shoved up her nightgown. My need for her went beyond a vampiric need. My hips thrusted into her and she gasped. "Anna," I growled near her face as I moved quickly.

She put her hand on my chest and shoved, "Stop!" she yelled as her other hand hit me in the middle of my chest. My body flew back and I landed on the floor with a hard thud; taking my breath from me. She jumped off the bed and held her clothes together. "How dare you do that to me!" she yelled, standing over me. "Get out!" she screamed and pointed at the door.

"Anna," I panted, rolling onto my hand and knees; holding my chest.

"Queen Anna to you!" she yelled.

"Your Grace?" someone knocked on her door.

"Come in here!" she ordered and threw a robe at me. "Get him out of here!" she told the men when they came into the room. "I don't want to lay eyes on him for three days!" she huffed, turned and went to the bathroom.

"Come on," one man took my arm and pulled up, causing me to cry out softly.

"Have a care there," I recognized Michael's voice.

"Dad," I panted and winced as they got me to my feet.

"Take it easy, Son," he said as he wrapped the robe around me. "Looks like you caught her Majesty's wrath."

The other man put his arm around my shoulders, "He lasted longer than the last one," he whispered.

I looked at him, then Dad, "What does he mean?"

"Nevermind that now," he shook his head, "Let's get you out of here," he put his arm around me too, "before she snaps you in two."

"Too late," I winced as they hurried me out.
