When we returned from the hunt, we all met down in the basement. Allan paced feverishly across the concrete floors, wringing his hands through his hair. Three burly men waited around, watching us quietly.

"I don't know," Allan shook his head, looking from the coffins, to the crates.

"You won't be exposed," Dad reassured him.

"I hate this," he panted and hit his hip with his fist.

"It will be over by night fall," Nigel smiled at him and Allan gave him a withering look.

He continued to pace and Anna sighed, "I'm to tired to wait," she stepped in the coffin, "Get him in any way you can boys," she waved her hand and laid down.
One of the burly men tucked the satin around her arms and she smiled up at him. For a big man, I was amazed how gentle he was. He made sure her hair was tucked in and she was asleep before he soundlessly closed the lid.

I yawned as I watched them put her coffin in a crate and nail it up. I looked at Dad and shrugged. "You're next," he pointed at me.

I looked at Allan, "I was going to help you with him."

"I don't need HELP," he growled at me.

"I don't know how you can help. It's always a struggle with this one," Nigel sighed and put his hands on his hips. He watched Allan pace for a moment, then said, "You know claustrophobia is a human emotion."

"Yeah, yeah, you told me," Allan said irritably.

I felt sorry for the poor bastard.  "Allan," I walked over to him.

"What?" he snapped and looked at me.

I smiled at him, "I've always wanted to do this," I said and hit him in the jaw as hard as I could. His head jerked back and his body flew back three feet, hitting the wall before it crumpled to the floor.

"Marcus!" Dad gasped.

"He's fine," I said, shaking my burning hand. "The Queen said, 'any way you can'."

"I'm sure she didn't mean THIS way!" Dad yelled at me.

Nigel leaned over Allan and checked him, "He IS fine," he laughed, "Okay boys, get him in a coffin."

"Yes Sire," one man said and two men picked up Allan.

Dad walked up to me, "Are we going to have the same problem with you?" he put his hands on his hips.

I held up my hands, "Just let me fall asleep first boys," I told the workers as I laid down in my coffin.

I heard a man say, "Yes sir," before he went over to Nigel's coffin.

I closed my eyes and waited for the Vampiric Sleep to take me. It wasn't long.
