The warehouse basement was windowless. Burgundy carpet lined the floor and dark gray paint was on the walls. She had actually created a home for herself in the basement of a warehouse! I looked around at the furniture, the tables and the curtains on the far wall.

One man thunked me into a straight backed chair and the other put heavy straps around me; securing me to the chair. At least, that is what I let them think.

"So," Nikita said loudly, rubbing his hands together, "what shall we do with you now?" he purred.

"Where's Ella?" I frowned.

He waved his hand towards the set of dark burgundy curtains on the wall, "Oh she doesn't rise for four hours," he laughed, "You're all mine until then."

"Torcher for four hours, doesn't sit well with me," I said and pulled on the straps.

"Ah, you won't break those," Nikita laughed. I could feel my anger swelling. I could feel the Vampiric Power that Grandpa had taught me to control, break loose. "I got those from the zoo," he said proudly, "They restrain...." he stopped and gasped as I popped one; then another strap popped. "What the hell...." he whispered in awe.

"He's getting away!" one man yelled and both men came at me as I stood.

"What the hell?" Nikita said louder and took a few steps back. I hit one man in his chest and tossed the other over my head. His body slammed against the wall and fell to a crumple on the floor. Nikita looked at one man, then the other with wide eyes. "What the hell?" he yelled and looked up at me.

"You're repeating yourself, Nikki, my boy," I laughed and took him by the neck. I squeezed slightly and he tried to pull my powerful fingers from around his throat. "You are a fool," I shook him once and raised him up off his feet, "How dare you THINK that you could subdue me!"

"Wait! Wait!" he choked out.

"Why?" I frowned.

His eyes narrowed, "This!" he snarled and I felt a sharp pain in my side. I tossed him away, but he got up quickly. "Now," he pointed at me and pulled out a dagger, "Now I will kill you!"

I looked down at the knife between my ribs and up at him. I pulled out the knife and tossed it away. "I seriously doubt that," I shook my head.

"I missed that time, but I won't miss again!" he vowed and lunged at me.

I sidestepped his lunge and hit him between the shoulder blades. He fell to the floor and I kicked the dagger from his hand. He stood up quickly and I hit him in the jaw. He fell back, but remained on his feet. I hit him in the ribs and felt a break as he groaned. I seized his jacket and pulled him close. He tried to pull free, but I shook him once. "Stop!" I ordered, "It's useless to fight me."

"Please!" he moaned. I could see the blood at his mouth and smell its metallic odor. The Need flared to life and I wanted to drain his blood from his body, more than I wanted my next breath. "Are you going to kill me?" he panted, angrily pulling at my hands.

I brought him close to my face, "I should," I growled in that other worldly way I spoke when The Vampire Extraordinaire was in full control.

"Then do it already," he said pathetically.

"But then you win," I shook my head, "You won't win," I dragged him over to the chair, "Not today!" I growled and slammed him down in the chair. I picked up pieces of the straps I had broke and tied his hands to the chair arms; then I tied his feet to the chair legs.

"What are you going to do to me?" he said worriedly and tried to pull free.

"Nothing," I said and walked over to the man I hit. I picked him up and dropped him on a couch. I bound his feet and hands and walked over to Nikita.

His eyes were wide, "What do you mean; nothing?" I walked over to the burgundy curtain and jerked it open. There, on a white pedestal was a silver coffin. "What are you doing?" he asked frantically and I could hear him struggling as I walked over to the coffin. "Leave her alone!" he yelled and pulled to break free. I opened the lid and looked down at the body, wrapped in lace. "No! No!" Nikita screamed and struggled so hard that I heard his chair fall over.

I pulled the lace from her face and stared into the face of Evil...Ellawyn.

"Ella," I sighed and my voice rumbled in my chest. She had tortured my Father and terrorized my Grandfather. She had hunted me relentlessly and turned my friends against me. I wanted her dead. I wanted her destroyed. I gripped the side of her coffin so hard, I heard the metal squeak as it bent in my hands. I looked down and dropped my hands to my sides. I couldn't kill her or even touch her. The Council would want to pass judgement on her. But I could so easily take my revenge out on her as she slept. She was helpless. Somehow, that just seemed to easy...to gentle of a way for her to die.
