Bobby took a startled step back, "Okay. You have my attention." Allan slowly circled behind Bobby. He looked back at Allan and back at me. I could hear his heart start to beat wildly with his fear. "What the hell is this?" Bobby held up one hand and reached behind him.

"Your gun is useless," I dropped my hands and he drew his gun. Nigel took a step forward and I held him back. "It's alright," I looked into his eyes and he glared at Bobby, then slowly nodded his head.

"What the hell ARE you freaks?" Bobby asked angrily and he started panting.

"Just kill him," Allan said tiredly, waving his hand.

"What!" Bobby gasped and turned slightly, pointing the gun at Allan, then me.

"It's alright," I smiled.

"I'll shoot the first one that steps my way!" he waved the gun.

Allan slowly walked over to my side, "So what's the plan with this guy?" he threw his thumb over his shoulder.

"I want your help," I told Bobby and he shook his head. "I don't want to kill you," I started.

Bobby pulled back the hammer, "Gonna be hard to do that. You don't think I'd come into this alley with you and your friends, if I wasn't prepared; do ya?"

"I told you, that won't work," I shook my head and took a step forward.

"Get back!" he straightened his arm, "What the hell are you?"

"Vampire," I shrugged and I heard Nigel sigh heavily. "It's alright," I told him without breaking my eye contact with Bobby.

"That's why your eyes are red?" he raised one shoulder and I nodded. "So I'm supposed to believe you?" he rolled the gun, "I'ma need more proof than that."

Without a moments hesitation, I jumped at him. The gun fired as I slammed him against the wall. My hand circled his neck and I slammed him against the wall again, making the gun drop to the pavement.

"Marcus!" Nigel barked.

"He's not hurting him," Allan laughed.

"Let me go!" Bobby pulled on my fingers with his hands, but I held him easily.

"Just break his neck," Allan sighed, "He's a meathead."

"If I let you live," I pinched his throat and he gagged, "you will be my servant. You will do exactly as I say." I took a step closer, so I could talk into his face. "I'm not like other Vampire. I will hunt you down in the sunshine," my voice turned into a growl, "Understand Human?" Bobby could only stare at me with wide eyes and nod meekly. I gave him one more squeeze before I released him suddenly and fell back a step.

Bobby gasped for air and coughed. He leaned over and held his knees in his hands. He rubbed his neck and glared up at me, "I can't believe I missed you," he rasped.

I pulled my jacket open and shook my head, "You didn't."

"What?" he whispered, slowly straightening.

"Marcus," Nigel took my elbow and turned me to him.

"Son of a....," Allan gasped and took a step towards Bobby.

"Leave him!" I snapped and caught Allan's arm.

Allan frowned, "He shot you!"

I laughed, "You know I'll be fine." I took the handkerchief from Nigel and stuck it inside my shirt.

"You need blood," Nigel said with a matter of fact tone.

Bobby held up his hands, "Not me."

"Not you," I laughed.

"I'm sorry, I....," he started.

I waved my hand, "I need your help."

"Sure," Bobby nodded.

"Doing what?" Allan put his hands on his hips.

"He's about the only one that can walk up on Ella," I said and I could feel every muscle in Nigel tense up. I looked at him, "Elaine worked for Ella. He could find them. If Elaine is alive, she would trust her brother. Ella would be attracted to him," I smiled at Bobby, "Want to help me find your sister?"

"It'll be dangerous," Nigel warned.

Bobby nodded, "She's my baby sister. The only one I got. I wanna find her. This Ella woman has her?" he frowned.

"Possibly," I said and held my side, "she also could be dead."

"You're a son of a bitch," Bobby frowned.

I laughed, "You have no idea."

"So where do I find this Ella woman?" Bobby asked irritably and added, "Who the hell IS this Ella?"

"He should know the truth," Nigel said softly to me.

I nodded and looked at Bobby. I held my side tighter and felt the blood slide through my fingers. I held my bloody hand out to him, "I think you owe me some blood." He jerked back from me and held his hands up. I smiled, "Just kidding," I put my hand over my side and left the alley.

"Well I wish we had your Father," Nigel sighed.

"Just get the bullet out," I said irritably and glared at Bobby, "I ought to bite you anyway."

"Sorry," he held his hands up.

"Okay," Nigel said and slowly cut the flesh open on my side. I grunted and he looked up into my eyes. I nodded and he searched the wound. "The bullet is deep," he whispered as he probed.

"So you guys feel pain?" Bobby asked.

"Pain," Allan answered, "not death. Believe me. There was a time I wish I could have died. You'd be surprised what a vampire can live through."

"Maybe I should become one," Bobby shrugged and stared at Nigel digging into my side.

"I'm a hungry vampire," I groaned, "I can make that happen for you right now."

"Steady Son," Nigel patted my arm and I sighed heavily. "Okay, I'm trying again," he warned and I gripped the arm of the kitchen chair. I closed my eyes tight to the hot pain.

"Marcus!" Anna gasped and came into the kitchen. "What happened?" she wailed.

"Bobby shot him in the stomach," Allan pointed at Bobby.

She fell against Bobby and slammed him against the wall, "I'll kill you myself!" she growled.

"It was an accident!" Bobby yelled.

"No Anna!" I yelled. She slowly released his jacket and let him slide down the wall.

"Shit!" Bobby panted and jerked his clothes down.

"Don't piss off a Vampire," Allan laughed, "especially the females."

"So I see," Bobby moaned and rubbed his neck.
