The door burst open, splinters and chunks of door flying across the floor. Nigel stepped into the house, "Ella, give me my boy!" he ordered.

The men holding me tightened their grip on me and I struggled against them. "Get him away from here!" Nikita yelled as men rushed into the house.

I slammed their bodies together and rushed around the sofa. A man stood infront of me and I swung my fist at him as another grabbed my arm. I was swung around and he hit me in the stomach. An elbow caught my chin and I fell back. I rolled over on my knees as fighting broke out all around me.

"Get him out of here!" I heard Nigel yell.

Someone fell at my side and I jerked back. "MARCUS!" Dad barked and caught my fist in his hand, holding it back.

"Dad!" I gasped and hugged him. He hugged me, then shoved me back. "How did you get here?" I laughed.

He grinned, "I don't listen to my Father either." He put his arms around me, "Come on. Let's get you out of here."

I looked at the fighting around me, "But...."

"No. This time we're going to listen," he shook his head and pulled me out the front door.

"Dad," I started and he dragged me to a car. He threw me in the front seat, slamming the door. He ran around the car and got in the drivers seat. He spun tires to get away.

He drove fast up and down roads that I didn't know. When he nearly crashed into another car, I yelled, "Dad!"
The car screeched to a stop, then he jerked the wheel and drove away fast. "Dad, stop the car!" I panted and held onto the window frame and dash. "Dad, you can stop," I said and looked behind us. "Dad!" I yelled and looked at him. Tears stood in his eyes, refusing to fall down his face as he blindly drove. "Dad!" I looked at the road and back at him, "She's not following us!" I took a deep breath, "Michael!" my voice reverberated in the small car and he slammed on the brakes, throwing us both forward. He fell onto the steering wheel and my body landed on the dash, then was jerked back into the seat. "What the hell?" I yelled and the window cracked. I turned to him, "You driving like a mad man doesn't...." I stopped when I heard the sound. It was small and pathetic. It was crying. The crying sobs of someone who was completely terrified.

His hands gripped the steering wheel and the sobs racked his body. His fingers wrung the cold metal as he sobbed. "I had to," he sobbed every word.

"Dad," I whispered as pain flooded my senses. I put my hand on his shaking shoulder and I sighed, "Dad."

"I had to get you away," he raised his head and looked out the window, "We are away?" he looked around, then at me, "You're safe?" I smiled and nodded. "Oh thank God!" he sighed and hugged me close.

"Dad," I held him as he cried silently on my chest.

"She is evil," he said and released me quickly. He slapped the tears from his face and jerked his sleeve up. "I'm always going to have those marks," he said and his chest gulped for air.

I looked at the mangled flesh and frowned, "Is that where she bit you?" I whispered.

He nodded and pulled his sleeve down, "I didn't want her to get you. We have to hide you." He looked around us and put the car in drive, "I have to get you out of here."

The car jerked as he sped off. "Go where?" I shrugged, "Dad, where are you taking me?"

"You need to hide until she is caught and destroyed," he shook his head, "I'll protect you."

"Maybe laying low for awhile would be a good idea," I shrugged.

"We should leave the country," he nodded.

"England is small. I thought...."

"To small," he interrupted and took out his phone, "Yes. Hello?"

"What are you...."

"We need to get out of town. Yes! I have him with me," he said irritably, "No. I'm not doing that. We need to catch a flight home."

"Dad," I started.

"No Father!" he yelled, then sighed, "I'm going back to America and I'm not telling you where. You have this number. Call me when Ellawyn is dead!" he touched a button and smiled at me, "I'll keep you safe."

"Where are we going?" I sighed.

"Home," he smiled at the road, "Away from her."
