I was taken to another room by, what I guessed was a butler. He showed me how to open the balcony door and how to properly close it, so that no sun light could get in. He showed me the draw string on the four poster bed that shut the curtains, pointed to the closet and pointed to the bathroom. Then he left me alone.

For two days, I stayed in my new room. It was half the size of the room I shared with Anna and the loneliness was palatable. I wanted a bigger room, not for vanity's sake, but because I could pace easier in a big room. I begged Dad to let me out of the room when he came to teach me etiquette, but he refused. Each time, as he left, he locked the door. A part of me was mad, but most of me thought I deserved it. I had hurt Anna. She wasn't like any girlfriend I had ever had. She was different. She was special. She was...a vampire.

I stepped out onto the balcony and leaned on the rod iron. It was night and a servant would bring up a bag of blood to drink. It was a terrible existence.

I could feel no lower. Then I saw her. Anna. She walked in the garden alone, touching the roses with her fingertips. She almost seemed lonely too. "Anna!" I called out and she looked up at me.

She picked up her skirts and ran over to me. "Marcus!" she smiled and waved up at me. She shrugged, "Where have you been?"

"Here!" I slapped the rod iron.

"I want to see you," she hissed, so nobody would hear her.

"I want to see you, but you said you didn't want to see me for three days," I laid my forearms on the rod iron.

"Yes. I did say that," she looked down at the ground, then back up at me, "Oh Marcus, I'm sorry. Father says I broke your ribs."

I put my hand on my chest, "Yes. You did."

"I'm sorry. How can you ever forgive me?" she called up to me.

"I'm the one that's sorry," I slapped the rod iron, "Damn this room. I want to see you."

"I want to see you," she laughed.

"I'm coming down," I told her and climbed up on the rod iron.

"No Marcus! It's to far!" she waved her hands, but took a step back.

"I'm coming," I said determined to be with her. I looked down to the ground two stories below and swallowed hard. I jumped down, landing with a roll.

"Oh Marcus," she ran to me and fell down next to me, "Are you alright?"

I grimaced, "I think I hurt my ankle."

"Oh," she moaned and went to move. I caught her in my hands and pulled her close. She looked deeply into my eyes, "Marcus, I've missed you."

"I've missed you. I'm so sorry for what I did," I moaned near her cheek.

"Michael tells me that you are taking lessons," she patted my arm in a dismissive way.

I released her and nodded, "Yeah." I pulled up my foot, laying my calf on my knee and rubbed my ankle.

"Is it broke?" she asked, putting her hand on my thigh.

I looked down at her hand and lied in a whisper, "No."

"Marcus," she stared at my lips and I nodded. "Marcus, will you kiss me?" she whispered and I nodded again. My speech was paralyzed by her close proximity. She leaned forward and put her lips close to mine. "Marcus?" she spoke through tears.

"Anna," I finally found my voice just before I pulled her close. I pressed my lips hard to hers as she threw her arms around my neck. She whimpered and my tongue was in her mouth. She sucked greedily, moaning and breathing heavily through her nose. I held her head in my hands, "Oh Anna, I never meant to harm you. Please forgive me. Give me another chance." I spoke quickly as I laid her back in the grass.

"Yes," she kissed me quick, "Yes!"

"Anna, oh sweet Anna," I moaned and kissed her again, holding her close. She clung to my shoulders, pressing her breasts to my chest. "Anna," I said and my voice was a low growl. I felt her body immediately tense. I looked into her worried eyes and smiled, "I won't hurt you again." She smiled weakly and nodded. "Anna," I swallowed hard as sudden realization struck me.

"What is it?" she frowned up at me, putting her hand in my hair.

"I may have come here to be your Slave, but I think I love you," I whispered.

"I love you too," she laughed.

"Anna," I kissed her again until she was feverish for me. I wanted to take her, right there, on the grass. But I wouldn't. I couldn't. I had to prove to her and to myself, that I could be gentle; that I could think of just her needs. My hand slowly slipped under her skirts and I found my way, up her leg, to her throbbing need. "Anna," I whispered near her ear as I touched her.

"Yes!" she moaned and pulled me closer. She moved her hips against the glorious torture of my fingers. I slid my fingers deeper, finding the resistance that had, once again, grown back into place. Her body tensed for a moment, but I retreated. I drove my tongue into her mouth as deeply as I wished I could drive my hips inside hers. She clung to me desperately as her release came, then she collapsed in my arms. I watched her panting for air for a moment, then I kissed her deeply again.

Suddenly, she sat up, "I have to go!" she stood up, "I have to leave!" she panted. I sat up on one elbow and watched her run away from me.
