Joy: I should separate from you guys.
Nina: What are you saying?
Eddie: You’re not going anywhere.
Joy: If she can see where we’re going through and listen to what we’re saying because of me, it’s better that I separate. We’ll never reach the cabin.
Emily: Hey, don’t be too hard on yourself. It isn’t your fault that Senkhara stamped you.
Fabian felt like they were walking in circles, but didn’t want to say anything until he was sure. He had seen the same tree four times now.
Fabian: Guys, stop. We’re walking in circles.
Nina: No, we’re not. We’re going in the right direction.
Fabian: I’ve seen that tree at least four times.
Eddie: It might be alike to the ones you saw, that’s it.
Fabian: You know there’s no tree alike to any other, even if they’re part of a same family.
Emily: So what do you suggest?
Fabian: I’m thinking… we’re trapped.
Nina: Trapped?
Joy: It might be possible that Senkhara did something so we wouldn’t go any farther. We should be near the cabin then.
Eddie looked around to try and see anything familiar. Nina felt someone was watching them, and it wasn’t because of Joy. She turned over to a part of the woods they were afraid going through, due to its darkness. She pointed at it.
Nina: There is the way out.
Fabian: How are you so sure?
Nina: I feel there’s someone watching us from there.
Eddie told them to wait. He walked towards the entrance of the scary way.
Eddie: Just another way, Eddie. Don’t panic.
When he was about to walk through, he stamped.
Eddie: Is there some kind of invisible wall I’m missing here?
Nina ran to where he was standing, and tried going through.
Nina: Let me try.
Only her hand was able to cross. Fabian ran to them and tried as well. Half of his body was able to cross.
Eddie: What if we tried crossing at the same time?
They took each other’s hands and closed their eyes. They took a deep breath and crossed. The wall cracked as they walked through. Emily and Joy couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
Joy: Way to go guys!
Emily: That was amazing!
The wall fell into the ground, and disappeared with the wind. Just like the ashes did before. Just like the swirl of never ending voices did before. Nina swallowed.
Nina: There’s the cabin.
Eddie smiled, more because they had found the cabin they had been looking for, not really because he was happy to see it again after what happened some months ago.
Fabian: Do you think… she’s waiting for us?
Eddie: We’ll be together, don’t worry.
Nina: Now it isn’t only us, we also have Emily and J…
Nina turned over to see Emily and Joy. They weren’t there anymore. In their places, there was a dark shadow but not them.
Fabian: … She actually is waiting for us.
