Imagine:
The sheer cold of the muddy water makes me stand right up, but it's hard when damp clothes weigh so much. I drag Y/n up and she seems half asleep or unconscious. I think she's got hypothermia. My own body starts shaking as the cold bites into my skin, but I grit my teeth and pull Y/n over my back and return to the lodge. I kick off my shoes and pull off Y/n's wellies and carry her into the lounge.
"Care to explain this Mendes?" I find Mr Williams staring at me.
"I... uh, I think she's got hypothermia, Sir. She passed out and I brought her inside."
"And why were you outside? Especially in this weather?"
I shrug and he sighs. "You're both off for tomorrow okay? I don't know if Y/n can get back up in time." He leaves without saying anything else.
I lay Y/n down carefully on the rug infront of the fireplace. I take off her jacket and top layers of clothes until she's just wearing a thin vest and the soaking jeans. God, where's everyone when you need help? I run to the kitchen and boil some water. I run upstairs to our room and grab Y/n's pyjamas and change into my own quickly. I return to Y/n and she's still asleep. I hold her hand in mine as it's just starting to warm up. I rush back to the kitchen and fill up several hot water bottles and carry them back to Y/n and place them around her body. I pull the thick, woollen throw off the couch and place it around Y/n. I take a thin one off an armchair and wrap it around me as I watch over her.
There's a sudden crash as the door opens and Cam, Jack and Jake walk through.
"Woahh, Shawnie boy," Jack calls. "What did you do to her man? You know old Williams said no funny business."
I groan. "Lay it off dude, she's passed out, and you will be too if you don't keep your mouth shut."
They saunter up to their rooms and I watch over Y/n, trying not to sleep.

I feel a sudden intense burst of heat against my cheek. I flutter my eyes open and sit up quickly as I realise how close I am to a fire. Why am I here? I look down and I'm only wearing a vest and jeans. Wasn't I outside? I find my pyjamas folded neatly beside my and I change into them.
"Oh, Y/n. You're awake."
Shit! Did he watch me change? But that's the least of my priorities. "W-What happened?"
He yawns and scratches his head. "You passed out, probably from hypothermia."
"Oh..."
"I brought you in, and well yeah," he gets up to leave.
"Where are you going?"
"To bed," he replies.
Of course. Jeez, did I keep him up all night? I haul myself up but my body feels heavy, and I feel a pair of strong arms lift me up. I look up and see Shawn carrying me away, to somewhere safe? Being with him feels safe. I'm suddenly surrounded by cold, soft things as my head is planted on something soft.
"Hey, it's okay," Shawn whispers. "You'll get warm in a bit. Here."
I feel something warm spread across my body from my heart as something is pressed against it. I smile slowly.
"Feels good yeah? See, you've stopped shivering now."
My eyes start to droop and I fade in and out of sleep. I turn to my side and try to see Shawn, but I can only just make out a figure in his bed.
"Thanks Shawn," I mumble and drift away to sleep.
