Imagine:
Today is finally the day Shawn has managed to take me to the beach like he promised. In the past, he's never managed to make a day for just the two of us because of last minute interviews or his friends always deciding on joining us. But today, Shawn has definitely planned a beach outing for just us two.
He pulls up infront of my house and I slam the door shut behind me. Shawn gets out of the car and greets me with a quick kiss on the lips before taking my bags and placing them in the back seats. I raise an eyebrow at him as I see the other things he brought, consisting of picnic baskets and large umbrellas and a volleyball. His response is just a shrug and a smirk as we climb into the car.
"How is my beautiful girlfriend on this fine and lovely day?"
"Why is my charming boyfriend speaking like that?"
He leans over the side and gives me a long and passionate kiss. "Are you excited for today?"
I nod my head. "Finally, a day without Cam or Brian always tagging along-"
Just as I spoke Shawn's phone starts ringing with Brian's name appearing across his screen.
I sigh as Shawn answers the phone and starts talking to Brian. I listen to Shawn laughing and joking around about plans for today before finally admitting to going to the beach. I'm all ready to leave the car and make room for another few guests when Shawn ends the call and grins at me.
"Don't worry, we still have the day to ourselves."
I still have doubts though. "Are you sure they won't surprise us like last time with water guns and balloons?"
Shawn laughs before patting my knee to reassure me. "Trust me Y/n, this time no one will be around. I told them I was at a different beach, just incase." He gives me a quick wink and starts to drive.
We arrive at the beach and it's packed with people since it's Saturday. But the one thing that worries me is the amount of girls who will be there, looking beautiful in their bikinis and batting their eyelashes at Shawn.
I feel a pair of hands at my waist as we queue up for the car park ticket machine. "What are you worrying about Y/n?" Shawn whispers into my ear.
His arms are hot from the sun and his muscles tight underneath his grey t-shirt. God, if I'm staring at him like this and wanting him in every way, surely other girls will too? "N-nothing. Just if we'll find a good spot or not."
"You're lying. You're chewing your lip again."
"Nothing's wrong Shawn, honestly."
"Fine, but if there's anything bothering you, tell me."
I nod my head and smile, trying to convince myself along the way. We walk hand in hand on the promenade and reach the warm, golden sands that separate my toes and make it hard to walk on. We find a spot in between groups of people and other families, and I recognise a group far in the distance from our high school.
I push the thoughts aside as I catch Shawn watching me closely, and I'd rather be spending the free day with him. The sun starts to beat down so I peel my clothes off slowly, feeling conscious of any preying eyes. I look up and blush as I see Shawn staring at me.
"Damn Y/n, you look hot," Shawn says.
I blush again and pass him the bottle of sun cream. "Would you do the honours of putting this on my back?"
He shuffles my way and takes the bottle from my hands, grinning away. He sprays the lotion on my back and gently rubs into my skin, going carefully around my bikini.
"You have no idea how tempted I am to unfasten the top," he whispers behind me.
"Shawn!" I yell.
He laughs and sits infront of me, pulling his top off to reveal his very prominent abs and chest. "My turn."
I spray some sun cream onto his back and rub it into his skin, my fingers massaging his upper body that is so muscular and toned. Once we finish I take Shawn by the hand and run out to the sea, desperate to cool off in the heat.
