  Part 7- Imagine:

Shawn's POV:

Five years on and we're all starting our last year of high school. I'm part of the school's ice hockey team whilst Nash and Cam are part of the football team. And Y/n? She moved to a different place in Pickering, but she still goes to our high school.

I watched her change into one of the popular girls, becoming a part of Alisha's girl group. Her skirts started off knee length and got shorter over the years, her tops changing in the same way. And I knew for sure that the Y/n I knew was gone. But it didn't seem that way. Before she moved, she still talked to me, and Nash and Brian and Cam. It was still normal with all of us still crushing on her so bad.

But as soon as Y/n moved into her new home a few blocks away, she stopped talking to us apart from the occasional hallway greetings or class work. She even met someone new in the second year of high school, some fake guy called Jake on the football team. And she also met some other guys - another Jake, Harrison and eventually coming back to Nash, although they didn't date, thank god.

"Earth to Shawnie boy," I hear someone call.

I look around and everyone's left Cam's car, apart from me.

"You coming or what dude?"

I nod my head and get out of the car.

"So, last year of high school, prom and graduation in the summer. You've got your eye on someone?"

I laugh. "No, I'm just waiting..."

Nash punches my arm. "For what? What about that Hannah girl you always help in History-"

"We're just friends."

"Yeah yeah. You say that with every girl. Or what about Y/n?"

All the guys start smirking and teasing me. I see Y/n up ahead of me, walking in our direction.

"Guys cut it out," I say as I go off and approach her.

"Hey Y/n! How was your summer?"

She looks up and pretends to think. "Could've been better."

I nod my head and start to walk away to homeroom when a hand catches my arm.

"Wait," Y/n says.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I just thought I'd walk with you to homeroom."

"We're in different ones," I say. I look at Y/n properly and notice she has a skateboard tucked away under her arm. "Are you alright Y/n? What is this?"

She watches me stare at her skateboard and laughs. "This is the last year of high school right? And I realised, I want it to be perfect. My best memories were made in elementary hanging out with you guys, and to be honest, I've missed it."

I frown, slightly confused.

"I'm finding my old roots again," she explains. "You know, the old me. I fell out with Alisha and her bitches in the summer since I accidentally kissed one of her exes-"

"You did what?" I feel like I'm seeing the old Y/n again, but this time with a little bit of the rebellious side showing.

"I know right? Tragic. But anyways, I went past that treehouse from like, an age ago, and well yeah, I miss the old times. I miss the fun we used to have altogether."

"So you've decided to come back to us?" I don't how I feel about this to be honest. After times of not speaking and she wants to see us again?

"Is that okay?" She asks carefully.

"Sure it's okay," I say. But is it really?
