"I shush my mind
And try to find
A little peace and quite
But my minds a riot
It's full of words and phases
Like a bunch of incomplete mazes
I pull on my hair
And no one cares
That every night
A light
It never goes out
And I pout about
Everything wrong with me
And how we
Can't do anything about it
But then they showed up
And even thought my favorite colour wasn't brown
And I always wore a frown
Their eyes were my favorite
So I decided to savor it
Oh my dear
How I tried not to fear
All the things I didn't know
And how I would always show
My weak side
I know I lied
When I said
I don't wanna be dead
But your smile
Keeps me alive."
