Poem #22

"I can feel the pain
Burning through my veins
I start to shake
Never again will I eat cake
The water turns red
I should be dead
The clock strikes three
Don't look at me
I hate my scars
I won't stop for cars
I scream
I cry
I feel like I might die
I lean against a wall
I won't make it to see fall
My heart beats faster
I don't have a master
I can hear people yelling
There's no telling
I grip my hair
But I don't care
This isn't fair
I'll never be happy
And tomorrow
Will be filled with sorrow
The blood will wash away
But the pain will stay
Until I lay
Six feet under ground
Not making a sound
Living among
The stars."
