"You wanted to play tick tack toe
So we decided to play it on me
You went first, putting an O through my head
I'll admit that hurt,
But I wasn't dead
So I drew an X on my stomach, because it's one of the things you made me hate about myself
You looked shocked, but then put an O straight into my heart
You were trying to get me to fall apart
But baby, it'll take more than that
So I picked my weapon back up
And drew an X into my thigh
Telling myself not to cry as red dripped onto the white carpet
If you cry, you loose and you were still winning
Putting an O right in the center of my soul
Before you could claim your win, I started slashing my arms with X's
Trying to show you that this wasn't over
I could still will
The X's were turning a dark red, almost black and I started to feel funny
I couldn't hear a word you said as I crashed to the floor
I saw your mouth moving, and faintly felt your arms wrap around me and hold me close not caring that I'm soaking your clothes with my bodies pain
You rocked me back and forth, kissing my forehead and I think for I second I heard your heart beat
Your tears hit my wrist and my stomach, and made their way down to my thighs as if they were trying to heal me
But I knew you didn't mean any harm
That this was all an accident
I tried to make a noise, a sound, anything to let you know it was going to be ok
That I'm ok
But then everything just stopped
No more light
No more pain
And no more you
Everything just vanished
Does this mean I won?"
