"She lays in bed
Pretending that her head doesn't have ears
To hear
Them yelling and screaming at each other
So loud she can hear it through the walls
Her eyes start to water
Why does she have to be the daughter
That knows the real reason why a day can never go by
Without them fighting
No this wasn't a fight anymore
It was a war
A two person war
And she was caught in the middle
She try's not to let out a yelp
As a loud thud and cry for help comes for the room next door
She wants to just go to sleep
To finally go to bed in peace
Maybe she's better off dead.
She finally drifts off
But the screams and cries transfer into her dreams
And she knows
From the tip of her toes
That their fighting has no end
Them loving each other is only pretend
And there's no way she'll ever be able to mend her broken family."
