Saturday morning.

As usual, I have a hungover. As usual, I'm making a really strong coffee at 12h. As usual, I'm thinking about ordering a pizza. Not so usual, my doorbell ringing.

I drag my body slowly to the door, regretting drinking and dancing so much last night.

I open the door, not even thinking about checking who's on the other side first. Avery stands before me, with two boxes with the PizzaPalace logo on them.

-"Oh my god, I love you!" I grin.

-"You're talking to the pizza right?" She lifts her eyebrow.

-"I am, but I love you too...obviously." I step aside to let her in.

She puts the boxes on the coffee table and follows me to the kitchen where I'm finishing the coffee.

-"Good morning." She spins me around to face her, and kisses me, grabbing me by the waist.

-"Good morning." I mumble into the kiss, not parting.

I wrap my arms around her neck and deepen the kiss. She presses her body against mine, trapping me between her and the counter.

With both of us running out of breath, we part from the kiss. She rests her forehead on mine, with eyes still closed.

-"I missed you." She takes a deep breath, opening her eyes slowly and smiling.

-"I can see that." I cup her face with both hand and kiss her again. "I missed you too."

-"So, how was your night?" She asks me while reaching for the mugs in the top shelve while I take the coffee pot to the table.

-"The usual, minus you." I pout.

-"That must suck." She winks, taking a sip from the coffee. "Hangover?"

-"A little, but I'm better now that I have coffee, and pizza, and...how was your night?" I smirk.

-"Ass." She smacks my arms playfully, pretending to be offended. "Same. I thought about dropping by last night..."

-"Oh. What stopped you?"

-"I don't know. I wasn't sure you'd be at home at that time, and if you were you could be sleeping already...I just decided to go home instead."

-"Well, next time...call me, maybe?" I chuckle.

-"Hmm...I did. Next time, answer, maybe?" She snorts.

-"Oh!" I blush. "Sorry."

-"It's fine. I only tried 15 times." She looks down staring at her coffee.

-"What?!" I ask, both surprised and ashamed. "I'm so sorry, babe, I..."

-"I'm messing with you, Ems." She laughs and I roll my eyes.

-"Ass." I stand up to go to the couch. "Come."

I sit with my legs crossed and cover myself with a blanket. Avery follows me and sits on the other end of the couch.

-"But, did you drink too much?" She keeps asking about last night and I look at her suspiciously. "I just want to know if you're too hangover...or still drunk."

-"Too hangover to what?" I keep staring at her, confused, and she shrugs.

-"To talk." She stared at the blank tv and I do the same.

-"Oh." Suddenly I'm sober as a rock.

-"Sorry. I shouldn't drop the 'we should talk' bomb like this...not on a Saturday morning." She gives me a half smile. "I've just been thinking about talking with you for the past two weeks, and I missed you like crazy last night and..."
