Tonight was the results show. Two contestants were to leave the competition today. Cyan, Holden, Darcy, and I knew that one or more of us were to leave tonight.
I was ready to leave the competition. A lot has happened in the span of a couple of weeks. I had a great time throughout this experience but it isn't what it used to be. Drama has developed and exploded in my face. The only thing I can do is to leave. Kalista and her other two band members won't stop hunting me down as their target until I am far away from Calibur, trying their very best to get me away from him. Honestly, I'm not going to fight over a boy. They can have him. He is no better than they are.
I took my time as I got ready for the show tonight. In a week, there will be a winner announced. I took the bus to the theater. I didn't want to have a personal driver. I was done with that. I was done with everything Discovered Rumors brings along with the few people that are part of it. He is my main concern. I just want to get away from him.
It's unfortunate that it all had to end like this. However, getting Ty back was something I won't regret. He has been a hand full lately, trying his best to recover the time he had been ignoring me, but he is still one of my great friends.
"Everly," Lila shouted from the distance. She ran up to me before saying, "I was waiting for you to come," She said out of breath.
"Am I late? I thought I had to be here at five o'clock," I said, a bit confused.
"Who told you that," she asked, genuinely curious. "You are forty minutes late."
"The schedule I received through text," I took out the phone to show her.
"Where did you get that phone?" She sounded concerned.
"The show let me borrow it since there were times where we all went our separate ways like at Disneyland and when we went to the movie premiere. They said it was for precaution in case anything happened."
"That's not the show's phone."
"What do you mean it's not the show's phone," I looked at her a bit cautious as to what she was saying.
"This," she pulled out her phone from her back jean pocket, "is the phone the show gives out if you don't have one."
It looked the same as mine but at the same time different. It was a minimal difference but if you owned the fake or the other, you could tell.
"Then what is this?" I looked down at the phone in my hand like if it was a bomb ready to explode.
"Why do you look ready to fling that device right across the room? Are you expecting a call? Is it Calibur? I know you're dodging him and for all the right reasons too. I would have done the same things if I were in your position. I might be his best friend and all but he's an idiot acting like an even bigger idiot."
"Ty, could you stop rambling. We have a major issue at hand," I gave Ty a serious look that would make him silence the babbling.
"No kidding," he looked at the phone then at me chuckling, but quickly covered it up once he saw the look on my face.
"I believe someone has been tracking me ever since I got this phone. Or why else would they go through the whole trouble of giving me a fake phone that looks almost identical to the one you have," I explained.
"Oh snap! This sounds like some serious stuff that's going down. I need popcorn," Ty ran down the hall and into the lounge room the theater had which was stocked up with snacks and drinks for everyone.
Lila rolled her eyes at Ty's actions then pulled me along with her to her room where all her makeup tools and other beauty stuff she had was placed.
"I think I have an idea as to what is going on," she said before closing the door once we were both in the room.
