Chapter 43 - Finding Him

"And Forever More stay! Sorry Sugar and Spice. We will miss you," Drake spoke in his mic bidding farewell to the girl group, Sugar and Spice, while Forever More jumped with joy behind them.

"Why are we watching this again," I asked Cyan as I hugged my legs closer to me trying to keep warm in the freezing living room.

Holden started choking on a piece of popcorn he was eating. I patted him hard on the back so he could cough it up.

"Thanks."

"No problem." I returned my attention on the screen in front of us. 

Cyan was determined to watch all the episodes of Discovered Rumors this Monday evening for some reason and made Holden and I to tag along.

"I haven't watched a single one of these episodes this year and I am in them this time. How is that even possible," he explained, throwing his arms up in frustration.

"Maybe because we have been busy since the beginning trying not to get kicked off the said show," Holden suggested.

"Eh, I guess you got a point there," Cyan shrugged one of his shoulders, nodding his head in agreement.

"Everly, I have been looking everywhere for you," Darcy came up from behind the couch, scaring me a bit.

"What for," I ask, my eyebrows scrunching up in confusion.

"Just come," she took a hold of my arm and started to pull me off the couch to follow her.

I waved a brief farewell to the guys as I was being pulled out of the room. Darcy wasn't letting out any information why she needed me this late on a Monday night. I was about to head up to go to sleep.

"Calibur is missing." Was all the information she let out.

"What do you mean?" I was confused.

She sighed out in frustration. It's not my fault she's not telling me everything so I can understand the situation.

"I heard from Ty that Calibur was missing. No one has seen him this whole entire day."

"What are you talking about?" I laughed, unsure if she was trying to pull a prank on me or something. "I saw him just this morning. We were picking out my song for this week."

Darcy gave a perplexed look. "Already?"

"We learn from past mistakes," I answered with a serious expression upon my face. "That's a story for another day. Now back to the point."

"Wait, what song did you choose?"

"That's not important right now."

"Fine. Do you think you know where he is? Everyones has been looking everywhere for him."

"But I haven't seen anyone worried about looking for him and I would know if his fans were looking because they are a riot. If he went missing they would go crazy."

"What fans?" Darcy asked with a serious look on her face.

"What do you mean what fans? A lot of people have left the competition but that doesn't mean all his fans have left. There's still a few around here. He has fans all over the place. Wherever he goes there are people chasing after him. Both girls and boys. So I don't quite understand what you are trying to say when you say Cal is gone."

"That's because his secret has been leaked and I am pretty sure I know who it is." Silenced loomed around us as she looked at me with an intense gaze, squinting her eyes at me.

"Why are you looking at me? I didn't do it. Cal may have hurt my heart but I wouldn't have done such a thing to him that would hurt him." I placed a hand over my heart, offended she would think I would do such a thing.

"I didn't say it was you." This time there was an awkward silence. "How did he hurt your heart? You like him." Her eyes glowed at the idea that I might, possibly, like Cal.

"Why are we asking so many questions? Let me go change and then we can go in search for him." I ran out of the game room, going up the stairs and into my room slamming the door behind me. I leaned against the door breathing hard after running up the stairs and while I tried to gather my mind as to what just went on.

Calibur is missing and I am, apparently, the only person that has seen him this whole entire day. Everyone knows about him losing all his money.

He probably just wanted to get away from all the prying eyes so he went to hide out. But what if he needs someone right now and isn't thinking right. What if someone jumps him and kidnaps him because of how handsome he looks!

I quickly pulled my pajamas off and switched into the first thing I found in my closet which was a dress with Marvel superheroes covering the whole dress. 

It'll have to work and was quick to change into. 

I had been wearing fuzzy socks so I kept those on and tugged on my black converse. 

I grabbed something that looked fuzzy and warm, placed it under my arm, as I rushed out the door. Didn't want to get a cold while in search for him.

I met up with Darcy out by the front door. She called for a driver so we were able to just hop in. The driver drove off the property as soon as we closed the door. She must have been aware of the situation.

"Where are we going first," Darcy asked.

I thought for a moment. Where could he possibly have gone?

"Let's just drive around for now and hopefully we'll see him," Darcy suggested instead.

I nodded my head. It'll have to do for now.

We've been out for about two hours looking for him. Darcy had Ty call her if he had any news of Calibur appearing.

Nothing came in.

"Let's head back. It's getting dark. We should rest and continue searching for him early tomorrow morning." Darcy explained her thoughts. I stayed silent in my seat, as I looked out the window, disappointed that we weren't able to find him.

"Are you coming Ever?" Darcy held the door open, waiting for me to get out and head into the house.

"In a bit," I told her.

Her eyes were full of sympathy as she looked at me, "Don't think about it for too long. We'll find him. Soon."

I wanted to find him today. Right now.

Once she closed the car's door. I called out to the driver.

"Miss, would you know if there is a beach close around here?" I asked the driver.

"There's one an hour away." Was her answer. I took it and ran with it.

I am going to find you today Cal. Even if it takes the whole night.

Short. I know. But hang with me here. I will give you more, hopefully, next chapter. Plus, the next chapter will be more interesting. You will see what I am talking about soon enough. ;P

I have been busy and will continue being busy but I'll put off my homework to write you guys the next chapter. I already have an idea as to what is to happen. 

Could it be a moment between Cal and Ever? 

Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows? Well, I do but I ain't telling. Hahahaha!!!!!  *evil laugh*
