Liam returns with the ICe cream minutes later.
He sits beside me, handing everyone their blizzards,
"Thank you" the kids cheer
"Anytime" he smiles.
Both Amber and Roshaun start talking to each other about random things
Liam then looks at me "so tell me more about yourself."
"Um. Well I currently live in d.c.... I, just here for a friends wedding" I admit.
He frowns. "You mean I don't get to see your beautiful face everyday"
I chuckle lightly, blushing.
"I mean, she isn't getting married for about another 2 months"
"That's a rather long time for the kids to not be in school, isn't it?"
"Yes it is, but I couldn't possibly stay here"
"Why not? Because of your ex?"
I nod slowly.
"Your whole life is here, your friends, family, childhood. You shouldn't have to suck it all up and move because you don't want to run into him. You did nothing wrong, you shouldn't have to hide"
I look at him and smile "you are totally right" I nod "why should I run and hide? This is my town as much as it is his, I shouldn't have to leave."
"That's the spirit" he chuckles
"Okay so now I definitely have to pay you back for buying the ice cream"
He shakes his head "no you don't"
"Come one, you bought us all ice cream plus gave me great advice, I have to do something"
"You can let me take you on a date"
"Suttle" I chuckle before nodding "alright"
He smiles ,"Thursday night at 7?"
"Sounds perfect"
Toby
"You okay?" Hanna asks me when I approach her
"I will be" I nod slowly before holding her hand and begging to walk back towards our house.
Honestly it angered me when I saw Spencer with that guy.
It is totally wrong of her to have our kids meet some random guy before meeting their father.
Granted this probably happened a lot in the past 7 years.
I didn't like the picture I saw today, Spencer, our kids, that guy, they didn't look right to me.
I also have to admit it's weird seeing Spencer with someone else, but I guess that how she feels with me.
When I think back to Spencer and I's relationship, I realize that we weren't even together for that long before everything got messed up.
We were together for 4 and a half months before she got pregnant.
Our relationship lasted 2 years and a month and a half.
(A.N.... Just incase y'all doubt me.
4 and a half ~ before she got pregnant
9 months ~ pregnancy (technically u are pregnant for 10 months)
12 months ~'after they were born
4.5+9 = 13.5 ~ a year, a month and a half
13.5+12 = 25.5 ~ 2 years, a month and a half

When we get home Hanna decides to go shower leaving me alone with my thoughts.
I don't know why I am thinking of Spencer so much, I am happy with Hanna, I'm ready to marry her, a week after Cassidy's wedding.
Cassidy's wedding..... Shit.
I'm the best man..... Spencer's the maid of honour.
Our kids are the ring boy and flower girl.
Whatever,meet both has moved on. We just get up there, support my sister and that's it.
'Just stop thinking about her toby' I tell myself.
I shake my head and turn on the t.v watching something action packed to clear my mind.

The rest of the evening went well, we all had fun and I have a date.
I hug Liam goodbye and kiss his cheek as we head our separate ways.
"Wanna watch a movie?" I suggest to Melissa, my mom being out with her D.A.R club and her friends doing meetings for parties as well as for work.
"Sure" she smiles.
The kids and I change and we all get comfy in the barn.
"You seem really happy" Melissa smirks
"I am" I nod with a big smile
"Mommy has a date" Amber says and Melissa raises her eyebrow
"His name is Liam" Roshaun adds
"I'm proud for you little sis" Melissa smiles, nudging me.
I chuckle and lean into her, "I'm happy. I can genuinely say I'm happy"
"I'm glad" she says as she hugs me.
I'm excited for this new chapter in my life.
I don't feel as bad since the kids have met Toby and they themselves said they want a relationship with him.
They can, I won't stop them, I'm just happy I can move on. If Toby can be happy then so can I.

Sorry that it took so long and it's pretty crappy.
Trust me it's going to get better I just need a few fillers before I reach the better parts.
