At the police station:

"It's been more than 17days and you don't have a clue on Mr. Payne's son case. I am replacing your case to someone else... leave!" chief said.

Just then the door opened and a young handsome white man, with blonde hair, deep brown eyes came in

"Welcome Lieutenant Jack!" The chief got from his chair to shake hand with the officer "please have a seat"

The officer sat on the chair opposite to the chief.

"You are dismissed!" The chief said rudely to the officer handling Liam's case.

After he left, the chief started talking "Mr. Payne specially recommended your assistance in his son's case?"

Lt. Jack chuckled "yeah after 17days of his lost son.... he asked for me... tell me more"

"No! he thought our officers can handle it, besides that you were on a vacation with your girlfriend, isn't it?"

"Yeah yeah I am glad you didn't disturb me. Anyway let's discuss Mr. Payne' son's case?"

"Sure Mr. Payne's son is mis-"

"Mr. Payne's son? He ain't got no name?" Jack asked rotating his chair.

"Liam! Liam Payne!" The chief replied, quite annoyed by Jack's behavior.

"Liam! Nice name! so where was he last found?" Jack inquired

"At the last day of his school fest! He didn't make it home"

"Have you talked at his school?"

"Yeah!"

"What about his friends?"

"Emm it was pretty easy- he had only one friend!"

"One friend?" Jack stopped his revolving chair and moved closer to the table.

"Yeah it was strange, but true! Liam was a nerd and he hide his identity at school so everyone bullied him" the chief explained

"Ok! So he is a school friend?" Lt. Jack raised his brow

"No!"

"Neighbor?"

"No! He met him at the first day of the festival"

"Hmmm interesting! So... you called him here?" Jack took a pen from the pen holder and started taking notes.

"Yes! We called him just the second day after the kidnap. He was in a beaten up state!"

"He is the one then! Maybe Liam beat him!" The officer shrugged.

"No!! Once Liam was bullied by some kids at school and he took a fight with them for him.... Later the boys ganged up on him and beat him to pulp. Those boys are in our custody and they agreed to do that"

"What's the name of his friend?" LT. Asked

"Emmm let me see" the chief took out a file and started flipping papers "Zayn!" He claimed "his name is Zayn. Zayn Malik from Forks International School"

"So Zayn...... was beaten up by those kids!"

"Yeah and I doubt in his state he can kidnap someone"

"This happened......?"

"One day before the fest ends. ZAYN haven't attended it" chief replied

"Hmm"

"But one odd thing happened! Zayn said he was saved by someone but not sure if it was Liam who came to rescue him, even his friend said he haven't seen his face"
