St. Lawrence Fest!

As Liam entered the school he received some warm morning wishes from few of students and rest just made him belief he is was invisible. Even then, he still kept a big smile on his face.

"Hey Liam!" On hearing that Liam turned to find a young hot girl wearing small red velvet frock.

"What you doing tonight?" She asked seductively syncing her red lips while playing with her hair.

"I've got plans" Liam answered in an awkward manner.

"So, what about tomorrow?" That bitch wanted to stab Liam so bad.

"I am busy bye!" Liam sort of rejected her and walked off. To be honest Liam was disgusted with all the hoes around him asking what is he's doing tonight. He remembered how the same girls use to reject him when he first joined and use to call him a retarded jerk and when puberty did its magic the same girls want to be around him. Liam wanted someone who is there for him, for his nature, attitude, character and not for his money, looks or fame.

Liam walked in corridor just to receive a group of four boys waiting for him, Luke, the leader of the gang came to Liam and grabbed his collar "You little piece of shit! How dare you ask Dani out?"

"Hold on pal! I didn't" Liam said innocently, trying to push his hand from his collar.

"Oh yeah? I saw you telling Danielle that you are not free tonight" he grabbed his collar even tighter.

"Yeah exactly that means a no, right??" Liam tried to sound humble as much as possible.
"No! That mean that if you were not busy tonight you would’ve went with her" Luke glared his furious eyes on Liam who looked completely helpless.

"Try to understand Luke. You have been bullying me from the first day, by now you know me very well pal. I’m scared of you. And honestly what makes you think that I will ever imagine hitting your girl. The whole school knows that she is your girlfriend. You two are so cute and popular." Liam played carefully using all proper words that came in his mind. Luke removed his grip and dusted Liam's collar.

"Alright! I’m letting you go this time but next time she asks you out just say a no to her face!" He ordered

"No" Liam shook his head in disagreement which lead Luke to grab his collar again "no!!! By no I mean if I said her a no she will be hurt and embarrassed in front of everyone and on seeing her hurt you will be hurt and I don't want to hurt you lad." Liam gently patted his arm as he loosened his grip again.

"Don't worry I indirectly rejected her a couple of times without hurting her so I will do it again if she comes to me" Liam said while adjusting the bag on his shoulder and tried to flip off.

"Hold on Liam! You mean to say I fuck a bitch you rejected? You gonna pay for saying that" he furiously came towards Liam, jamming his fist.

"What's going on here?" A strict voice caught the boys’ attention and bam it was the Liam's saviour the principal.

"No-nothing at all sir" Luke's voice trembled in fear.

"Better be nothing! Liam my boy! Come with me to my office I have to talk to you" he said and went towards his office where Liam followed without turning back to those four.
For a second out there Liam thought he was going to get hit. It was not like Liam couldn't fight back, actually he was way too strong for Luke but he doesn't like meaningless fights. Luke was the evergreen mad type of a guy who will somehow find a reason to hit you so Liam never argued with him much cause no matter what he did he was going to get hit so what's the use its not gonna end in one fight anyway.

"Have a seat Liam" the principal offered him a seat in front of him which he happily excepted.
"So, as you know we are organizing a fest next week and you are one among the best students of our school so I was just curious to know in which activities you are participating to represent our school?" He asked while rotating a pen in his hand and casually moving his chair right to left.

"Well honestly sir, I just thought of football and boxing" he replied gently.

"Okay!!! How about the indoor competition?"
"No plans by now sir but maybe in science quiz"

"I want you to represent our school in a singing competition and a craft one too. Any questions?" the principal said but it sounded more like a command.

"Sir-"

"No questions! You’ve got one week to prepare so leave young boy"

Liam got up and faked a smile while wondering how weird his principal is.

'Great! Liam Payne now you have to sing and embarrass yourself in front of more than 2000 students. That's just excellent'

He mentally cursed himself for being a nice guy and ending up in this mess. But this mess was somehow related to the upcoming thrills he was completely unaware of.
