"Thanks mate!" Liam gave a small smile to Niall who was just done applying an ointment on him.
"Anytime!" Niall said with his comforting side, walking out of his room.
As he came out he saw Zayn standing in front of the mirror in the hall, examining his marks on back. The scratches were thick and red, very visible "apply aleo vera it will cool down the burning sensation" he said
Zayn nodded, his head thinking about the explanation he owes to the boys.
"I think we should all go to sleep now!" Harry said, giving sometime for Zayn to himself, for which Zayn definitely was grateful.
Everyone left to their respective room leaving Zayn alone in hall.
Zayn slowly walked into his room seeing Liam asleep on his bed. He walked to him and carefully sat on the bed, trying not to disturb Liam's sleep. He brushed his hand gently in his hair, a gentle smile rose on his face on seeing Liam's innocent face while sleeping.
"I am sorry Liam!" He hissed with tear rolling in his eyes "it hurts you know......" he wiped his tears falling on his cheek "it hurts to see someone else making you happy the way I want to! It hurts on imagining a life without you. it hurts to see you hurt, it hurts to.............love you when I know you can't be mine" countless tears fell, Zayn quickly wiped his face and walked out of his room, unable to his low sniffing to himself.
Just as Zayn walked out his room he felt his phone buzzing in his pant. He frowned in anger on seeing the name flashing on his screen. He answered the phone is complete annoyance "why the fuck has you called me this late?"
"Woah Woah calm down Zaynie its just 3:00am. Which gangster sleep on this hour of time?" The voice he hated the most said
"How about coming straight on the point? Why did you call!"
"Harsh like always! Anyway one week! 1 week more then let Liam go!"
Zayn heart started picking up speed again "but its been 14 days only! I mean I thought Liam will be here for a month" he softened his voice
"we thought that the Payne's will take a long time to investigate but seems like his father can't wait to have him back home! So he gave the ransom" He said laughing "what's with the concern?"
"I was just curious!" Zayn trailed off
"Do I have to recall you that according the contract you can-"
"I know!" Zayn shouted
"we will send your share next Saturday then?"
He hanged up the phone without saying a word. His heart skipping in a rhythm of its own, he world turned upside down..
Zayn haven't slept the rest of the night, he breathe Feeling uneasy minute by minute passing.
Next morning Harry came out and was quite shocked on seeing Zayn sitting on the couch, lost in thoughts of his own
"Zayn?" He called
Zayn quickly wiped the tear, which Harry definitely noticed "morning hazza!" He said with a smile with a face filled with pain.
"Liam said something?" Harry asked in concern, taking a seat next to Zayn
"Nope he is my victim, what he says or think doesn't matter!" Zayn trailed off sucking at his lie
"Yeah! Tell me more!" Harry rested his hand on his chin telling Zayn to carry on with his load of shit he believes him to believe.
"One week!" Zayn said with a smile
"One week?" Harry asked waiting for further explanation
"Yeah after one week I will be a free man and I can go back to my family!!" He said trying to sound excited and expected Harry to be happy about it but Harry stood there in shock
