~ Isabella had yet to explain to Scott or Stiles what had just happened between her and Isaac. The two stood around her on the lacrosse field staring bullets into her, waiting expectantly for her explanation. She could barely make eye contact with Scott because she could smell the betrayal literally dripping off of him. She didn't know why she couldn't just tell him the truth and clear everything up, it was a simple task. The truth was easy and she hadn't done anything to betray Scott, but it was still hard to say.
Her relationship to Isaac was not a big deal, she just got nervous talking about it. It was all new to her.
The three of them all stood in silence. None of them knew how to start, Isabella was freaking out too much about the safety of Isaac to even utter a word of explanation.
Stiles looked in between his two friends; his friends who were the best couple he had ever seen, even if they disgusted them. Scott was staring angrily at Isabella and practically fuming while she stood a few feet away from them, avoiding his gaze and playing nervously with the bracelet on her arm.
Stiles thought they were being utterly ridiculous, Scott and Isabella needed to learn to communicate. Stiles shook his head and scoffed under his breath angrily,"Okay, can you both just stop? Scott please lose the anger, I get it's a full moon but calm your ass down. Maybe Izzy has a perfectly logical explanation, even though she did just run to a guy she barely knows rather than you, but I bet..."
Isabella looked up at Stiles and glared at him intensely. He immediately stopped mid-sentence and jumped back in fear of her, he would always be afraid that she would rip his throat out. She was Derek Hale's daughter after all.
Stiles recovered swiftly and said quietly under his breath to no one in particular, "She has a logical explanation."
Isabella shook her head at Stiles and then took a deep breath as she finally made eye contact with Scott. She was surprised when she saw that behind his hard and angry exterior that he held yet another emotion; he was broken and hurt by what he had thought she had done. It brought a deep frown onto Isabella's face when she noticed it, she didn't mean to hurt him. She hadn't even done anything wrong.
Isabella sighed and began bouncing on the balls on her feet as she spoke nervously to him," Look Scott, it's not what it looks like. I had to help him. He's-"
Scott's broken and hurt exterior was replaced with full blown blind rage as he threw his hands up in the air and interrupted his girlfriend, " He's what Izzy? Your other boyfriend? I should have suspected this when you got a "friend" that none of us talk to. This just proves that he's not just a friend, he means something more to you."
