Scott had showed up not only two minutes ago and broke up our little hug we had on the ground. He ran over to us shouting about how he went to go visit Danny at the hospital and apparently he had been trying to uncover data for Jackson from a video he took of himself.
As soon as Scott told us I knew it was the video of him transforming or I guess not transforming since nothing happened in the video. I had heard Jackson and Matt talking about how someone must have tampered with the footage since about two hours was deleted from the footage.
Danny had volunteered to get back the two hours of footage and had successfully done so but now Scott was trying to convince us..more importantly me, that Jackson had somehow stolen Danny's tablet that contained the footage when he was transformed into the Kanima at the night club.Since it was now mysteriously missing from the trunk of Danny's car and the trunk looked like it was harshly ripped and or forced open.
"I don't understand why he would steal the footage, Scott. Danny was going to give it back to him right after the video was restored. It just doesn't make sense." I said rubbing my forehead with my eyes closed as the four of us walked to the edge of a cliff in the preserve that was next to where we had parked the van holding Jackson.
Scott stopped walking and shoved his hands into the pockets of his jeans while sighing with a shake of his head. We all stopped as well and huddled together. I gave Scott an expectant look, I was hoping he could explain this to me... I need something to help me make sense of this. Scott was good at making things seem more logical and explainable . I needed Scott to do something like that whether it be coming up with an explanation or just finding a way to calm me, He just needed to do something.
He caught onto my expectant expression and sighed before looking around at all of us and saying, " I don't think Jackson even knows why he would have taken it. Remember he's not really himself as the Kanima. If he doesn't remember being the Kanima I doubt he'll remember taking Danny's tablet."
" Why would he steal the thing if he doesn't even know whats on it?" Stiles said with an annoyed tone while throwing his hands up in the air like usual.
I nodded my head at him before crossing my arms over my chest, I didn't think Jackson took it... I honestly don't, " Exactly my point, I agree with Stiles. He has no idea what the missing footage even is so why take it? I think someone else took it."
Allison smiled at me and said, " Agreed, If there is anyone here who knows what has been happening with Jackson it's Izzy and if she thinks it wasn't him, then I don't think it was him either. "
