I had just gotten a call from the one and only Jackson telling me to meet him at the police station which I wasn't very happy about because I was not only twenty minutes ago in my room sleeping after crying for about two hours. I had barely gotten to sleep when he called me and told me I had to be there. I wasn't even mad that he had somehow gotten out the van, I knew he would at some point because those three are idiots.
I saw the police station come into view as I turned the corner. I had walked the whole way here...well I ran a bit because it was raining and still is. At this point though, I was just too tired and emotionally drained to even try and run anymore.
I walked a few more feet before I reached the glass front doors and swung them open lazily. The woman at the front desk gasped at my soaking clothes and hair. I just smiled at her and rubbed my arms because I was freezing now that I stepped in to the station, " Can you buzz me in, please? Sheriff Stilinski should be expecting me. I'm here to help with Jackson Whittemore."
She smiled at me and nodded her head, " Sure, honey but before you go in there take my coat? You look freezing." I was about to protest but she put her hand up to silence me before standing up to slip off her heavy police jacket.
She held it out to me with a smile and I took it from her a little too eagerly. I actually hadn't realized how much I wanted it until now. I wrapped it around my body and sighed happily as the warmth engulfed me. I watched her chuckle at me before pushing a button on her desk.
A buzzing sound could then be heard, signalling that the door was unlocked for me to go find Jackson. I smiled at her and said, " Thank you. I really appreciate this." She nodded at me with a proud smile on her face before I turned on my heel and headed for the door to get to the Sheriff's office. I pulled the door open and walked through with ease.
As soon as the door shut behind me, I looked for Jackson. Luckily for me he was sat on a couch in the nearest room to the door with his arms crossed across his chest and a similar jacket on. I walked over slowly and when I got to the door frame I whispered, "Jackson?"
His head snapped over to me instantly and he sprung out of his seat. He quickly engulfed me in a hug and ran his hands through my wet and cold hair. He then let go of me and grabbed my hand in his with a smile before pulling me over to the couch he previously sat at. We both sat down and when we did I noticed Sheriff Stilinski and another man in the corner talking.
I nudged Jackson in the side grabbing his full attention, " Who's the weird guy in a suit?"
Jackson chuckled to himself, " That guy is my dad. He's also my lawyer, a pretty damn good one if you ask me." He whispered in my ear as I stared at the guy some more.
