I didn't expect the little pizza lunch but it was nice. Nico said it only happened because Isabella decided she wanted to sing a song. But it was nice sitting next to Isabella as she sang a song hoping it'd cheer Derik up.

Although I think Lyric cheered him up enough. Derik and Lyric smelled of sex and arousal. Derik seemed proud that Lyric seemed to trust him enough. Lyric seemed to be worshipping Derik looking at him for approval and everything. I knew Isabella and I would never have that relationship. Isabella wasn't the worshipping type.

'I think she'd prefer for us to worship her.' 'Yeah. She made her own religion and apparently we have that religion.' 'Maybe it'll earn us a special place in her heart.' I smiled at that thought. A day had passed since the pizza together lunch.

It was November and the leaves had fallen and collected up on the ground. An array of orange, red, and yellow. The tree's remaining leaves those colors too. The leaves littered the ground making the scene a perfect one for autumn. Isabella was painting this scene to be exact. The campus grounds covered in the leaves with students walking.

One of them happened to be me of course. The air out here wasn't as good as the air in the werewolves territory of Greenburg. 'Werewolves keep the environment up in shape as much as possible no matter what it takes.' I nodded in agreement with Ash.

NYC smelled of gasoline, cigarette smoke, trash and the occasional hooker. But the woods smelled similar to home. Not exactly but a small reminder of home. Honestly I couldn't wait for Thanksgiving vacation. To be back at home with my family in the familiar town for a little bit.

Four years of NYC, city life not the country life. Being a college student then we'd be back in Greenburg. I asked Rory about the breaks. We had a 2-4 week break around Christmas and about a week spring break. Some people did summer classes some didn't. Rory didn't do summer classes.

I'm not sure yet. 'On one hand it means more family time the other hand we graduate faster.' 'Such complicated choices.' Ash nodded. With that I continued through the campus and headed to the campus canteen. Isabella and I happened to have our classes ended and I saw her heading to the canteen.

I was gonna get some take-out but I'd suck it up to spend some time with Isabella. Entering the canteen I caught her getting some food with Maryse at her side. I smiled before heading over. Maryse looked at me and Isabella followed her gaze. "Hi Isabella." I said with a smile.

Isabella nodded. "Did you follow me here?" Isabella asked raising an eyebrow. "Might of. I just wanted to eat lunch with you. You don't mind right?" I asked. "I don't care. Don't pay for my food though." Isabella said. "Most girls love it when guys pay for their things." I said.

Isabella turned around. "I'm not most girls. Thought you figured that out." Isabella said with a smirk as we moved up. "Just being nice. Don't worry I won't pay for you food. . . this time." I said with a smirk. Isabella rolled her eyes as she went to grabbing her food.

'You should get that turkey sandwich and nutrition bar. It is calling my name, mm.' I grabbed it as we went to go purchase the food. Isabella had gotten herself a salami sandwich on a bun along with a bag of muddy buddies. Isabella purchased her things then waiting for me to purchase mine.

'A hint that she is softening up.' Isabella led us over to an empty table before sitting down. Maryse laid down. I sat down next to her and opened up the sandwich before grabbing the cut slices and began to eat them while Isabella ate hers silently.

A piece of cheese fell and she feed it to Maryse. "Maryse can eat human food?" I asked. Isabella looked at me. "Yes?" Isabella asked pretty much. "It's just she's a hellhound." I said. Maryse looked at me. "In solid form she requires actual food. In transparent she feeds off of souls she's dragging or the protection she gives." Isabella said. I nodded. Looks like I got a hellhound lesson today. Reaching down I pet her. "Maryse tolerates you." Isabella said. "I can see. Does she not like many people?" I asked. "I don't like people." Isabella stated.

"Nice to know that I'm growing on you." I told her. "Like a fungus." Isabella murmured. 'Not a fungus more like what breaks her armor and repairs it with a better one.' 'That was confusing.' 'Then we are a good fungus that she enjoy.' 'No one enjoys fungus.'

"You like me." I said. "Tolerate you." Isabella said. "Nope I'm breaking your defenses. I'm making my way into your heart." I told her with a sly smile. Isabella rolled her eyes before focusing on her food her cheeks dusted pink from a blush making me smirk at her and scoot closer.

"Now you are blushing cause you know what I am saying is true." I said with a smirk. 'Her blush is pretty.' "It's called it's called the cold." Isabella said not looking at me. I smiled at her. "Keep saying that Izzy." I said. "I will. . . Dolly." Isabella shot back with a smirk.

Ash pushed himself out. "Can I be your Dolly?" Ash asked. "Ash not now." Isabella said looking around. Ash sighed before letting me back in. "Tell Ash I'm sorry it's just humans everywhere." Isabella said. 'You heard her.' 'Yeah I noticed.' I nodded as Ash sat back feeling guilty.

I'm sure it appeared evident on my face. Out of nowhere Isabella hugged me. "I'm sorry ok." Isabella said pulling back. I went back and hugged her and Isabella went stiff in my arms. "Ok your suffocating me." Isabella said. I loosened my grip. "Let go." Isabella said.

I let go and watched her. "You feel nice." I told her and Isabella didn't answer simply looked away. "Thanks for letting me eat with you. It means a lot." I told her with a smile. "Yeah whatever. Derik says I need to be more nice to people as what goes around comes back around." Isabella said rolling her eyes.

'That could work in our advantage no doubt about that.' "Well it is true." I told her with a smile. Isabella didn't answer.

She went back to eating her food glancing at me every now and then. It was like she was studying me. 'She can study us all day.' Ash was happy if it was Isabella studying us. Soon I had finished my sandwich and moved to my nutrition bar. By the time I ate my nutrition bar Isabella had begun eating her muddy buddies.

"Ok. I'm done." Isabella said as she finished her muddy buddies and stood up. I followed her to trash then out. "You have any more classes?" I asked. "I have to grab my painting and the directions to the gallery for tomorrow." Isabella said.

"Gallery?" I asked. "Some paintings that previous students and famous people have done." Isabella said. "Can I come with you to the gallery?" I asked. "I mean if you want to." Isabella said. I nodded. "Ok I'm gonna grab my painting now." Isabella said. "I'll come with." I told her.

Isabella looked at me before nodding. Then we were off to get Isabella's new painting.

1260. So I scolded my dog for eating cheese. She refused to look at me. But I've been on my fanfic account for a bit. Yeah. Hadn't been writing on this account for two days. Until next time fanfic marshmallows.
