Chapter 9

(At the coffee shop)

No One POV
"Can I have some hot coffee?" there was a customer's voice.

"Oso ose-.." Mina turned to the voice and it was actually Chaeyoung.

"Chaeyoung-ssi"

"You left me a note asking me to come here so yeah here I am" Chaeyoung replied smiling with his dimple showing.

When Jeongyeon heard Mina was mentioning a name, he turned to the guy and kept on looking him from head to toe.

"Have a seat first. I'll send you the drink later" Mina said and Chaeyoung nodded. Chaeyoung then went to the table near the window.

"Yahh. Who is that guy?" Jeongyeon asked Mina, sounded very jealous, while Mina was preparing a toast and hot coffee.

"He's my friend" Mina answered.

"Friend my foot. I'm the only friend you have" Jeongyeon rolled his eyes.

"I'm serious. He's my friend"

"I'll be watching you two" Jeongyeon glared.

"Whatever" Mina rolled her eyes then left and went to the table where Chaeyoung was at.

"This is your coffee, Chaeyoung-ssi and the toast is on the house" Mina said as she served them before sitting down facing Chaeyoung.

"Thank you.." Chaeyoung responded.

"Sorry I had to leave early earlier without waking you up" Mina said.

"Nah it's okay since you had to go to work" Chaeyoung replied.

"Yeah"

"So.. hmm.. can I.. have my.. phone back?" and Mina was flustered because she decided to keep Chaeyoung's phone in a meantime to avoid him from getting calls from reporters regarding his fiance's scandal.

"Ahh yeah. I'll give it to you later.. I think I left it at home. Mianhaeyo" Mina replied.

"I'm worried that I'll have some urgent and very important meetings" Chaeyoung then took sips of his coffee and started to eat the toast. Silence then came in.

"Why do I feel a deadly stare from that guy?" Chaeyoung finally asked Mina something after finishing his toast. Mina scoffed.

"Ahh.. that's my bestfriend and he owns this place"

"I guess he likes you" Chaeyoung took sips his coffee again.

"Yeah he does"

"Ouh~ good for you"

Mina then looked at where Jeongyeon was at. Their eyes met and obviously Jeongyeon was glaring at her and mouthed 'I'm watching you' but hell yeah Mina just ignored him.

"Would you like to go out with me later?" Mina suddenly asked making Chaeyoung choked on his drink.

"Where? I need to go to my compa-.."

"Just follow me"

"But why? we're just strangers" Chaeyoung gave his confused look.
