Chapter 37

No One POV
Jeongyeon was driving on his way to the cafe, which then he saw someone familiar on the road carrying something heavy. Immediately, he stopped his car and went outside.

"Eomeoni.." he called the lady.

"Oh Jeongyeon-ah" the lady turned to him with a wide smile on her face. The lady was carrying a lot of food she bought from the market.

"Let me help you eomeoni.. take my car and I'll drop you home" Jeongyeon replied while taking the stuff from the lady's hand.

"Haigoo it's not really that far.." the lady said but Jeongyeon insisted so she gave in. Both of them went inside the car.

"Why did you buy a lot, eomeoni?" Jeongyeon started the conversation.

"Ani.. I've received a lot of order so I've to start making the side dishes" the lady said.

"Whoa your business is going well.. speaking of food, I really miss to eat your food especially your Kimchi Sujebi" Jeongyeon said.

"Ahh really? come to our house tomorrow for dinner then.. I'll cook something delicious" the lady said that made Jeongyeon felt excited because he got to the chance to eat the Kimchi Sujebi.

"Is it okay if I bring someone with me?" he asked it shyly. Of course he should not forget to bring his future wife.

"Are you seeing someone?" the lady smirked. Jeongyeon shyly nodded.

"That's great. But didn'texpect you've moved on that fast. I remembered last time you liked my daughter" the lady said. It was Mina's mom.

"It just happened that way.." he trailed off.

"That's good.. so bring her to our house. I'll cook a lot" Mina's mom said patting his shoulder.

"Nae eomoni.."

"We finally reached the house. Thanks for helping me.."

"It's my pleasure" both of them got off the car and Jeongyeon helped Mina's mom to carry the food inside.

"Btw.. where is Mina? she texted me earlier that she's taking her off day today" Jeongyeon asked.

"Yeah. She said she'll be going to an important event today so she's busy getting prepared" Mina's mom replied.

"Ahh.." Jeongyeon replied then he excused himself. He went back to his car and drove to his cafe.

At the same time, Mina was still in the house busy looking for her outfit for the launching.

"Should I wear this?" she kept on asking herself while looking at the full body mirror while holding different dresses.

After contemplating for quite awhile, she finally decided to wear a purple dress and got her make up fixed.

Then, she went out her room and greeted her mom who was busy putting the ingredients inside the fridge.

"My daughter is always pretty.." her mom said as she looked at her beautiful daughter. Mina was blushing.

"I'm going to the launching event now" Mina answered.

"Okay. Take care when you're going out"

"I will" Mina responded as she was looking for her high heels.

"Ahh before I forgot. Tomorrow night, I ask Jeongyeon to eat dinner with us.. I'll cook a lot"

"Wae?" Mina turned to her mom.

"Just because.."

"Arraseo. I'll get going now.." Mina then went out.

*few minutes later*

(At the launching event)

Chaeyoung greeted the VIPs who came to the event. There were so many people came to the event including the celebrities, reporters and many more. They all sat facing the runway. The  music soared through the room igniting a great atmosphere.

Few minutes before the event started, a smile crafted on Chaeyoung's face as he saw a woman wearing a purple dress came towards him.

"You're really pretty" Chaeyoung said to Mina. He couldn't take his eyes off her. Mina smiled.

"Let's go in. The event is going to start soon" he said and led Mina the way to her seat.

As Mina was seated, a crew approached Chaeyoung to ask him to get ready to start the opening stage.

Chaeyoung excused himself and went to the stage as all the stage lights were focusing on him. He began his speech and then he ended it perfectly.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, now let's watch the Winter Lover commercial and followed by the fashion showtimeeeee" the emcee said and with that the event began.

Chaeyoung sat next to Mina nervously while watching the whole event. He was nervous to see the people's reaction as he was seated.

But then he finally found his smile as he heard applause and compliments from the audience to the models whose doing the modeling on the runway.

The noise from the crowd was loud especially when the spotlight was focused on Tzuyu. She got the perfect height and body proportion which suits her job as the model. Too bad that she had to quit her job after finishing the event.

"She really slayed it" Mina said and Chaeyoung agreed.

The event lasted for about an hour plus and the event was ended with the performance by BTS with their new song 'Idol'.

"You can't stop me lovin' myself" the fans sang along.

"This event went well. You should be proud" Mina said, nudging Chaeyoung's elbow.

"Thanks to my girlfriend" he smirked. Both of them enjoyed the performance.

After the event was ended, Chaeyoung talked to people who came to say thank you for coming and he even talked to the investors in which he received compliments for getting the project done.

Many fashion design companies were giving great feedback and said they wanted to work with Chaeyoung's company in the future.

"This is daebak" Chaeyoung's secretary said as he saw lots of people swarming around him and then he noticed Mina was alone waiting for Chaeyoung.

He approached Mina and offered Mina to stay at the lounge to have some drink while waiting for Chaeyoung.

"Kamsahamnida" Mina said as she was seated.

"Sit comfortably. Please let me know if you need something maam.." the secretary said and went outside the lounge.

About twenty minutes later, Chaeyoung went to the lounge and saw Mina fell asleep on the couch. As he saw Mina's head was about to bang the side of the couch, he quickly sat next to her and put Mina's head on his shoulder. He giggled seeing Mina falling asleep like that.

Mina finally woke up when she sensed her head was leaning on something. She turned to see that it was Chaeyoung beside her.

"Did you sleep well? mianhae.. you had to wait" Chaeyoung asked.
