Chapter 41

(In the evening, at the beach)

Mina POV
"Do you wanna know something interesting?" Chaeyoung suddenly said. I was wondering what is it so I nodded.

"Put your right palm like this" Chaeyoung lifted his palm up with the back of the hand facing the sky and I followed him.

"Then..?" I said, lifting my palm in the air, cluelessly.

"There'll be something shining.." Chaeyoung said.

"Shining?" I said confused.

But then a smile appeared on my face when I suddenly knew that I was tricked by him. He sneakily put a ring on my fourth finger. It was really shining indeed.

"What's this~~" I said shyly. I really liked it that he can be this thoughtful.

'Where did he get the idea?' I thought.

"You're mine.." Chaeyoung said. As he said that, I swallowed. That was the sweetest line ever when someone claims you as theirs.

Then I turned to him, our eyes were met. We looked at each other for quite awhile until Chaeyoung finally made a move.

Unconsciously, I shut my eyes closed at that time as Chaeyoung's face getting closer to mine. He closed his eyes too and I could felt his breath as our face was like few centimetres away.

Next, I felt his rough fingertips brushed against the back of my neck as he pulled me closer to him. OMG. He made me fluttered.

He started to kiss me slowly on my lips so did I until his kiss became slightly hmm asking for an access for his tongue to enter mine. So yeah slowly I let his tongue met mine and we kissed really passionately. He released his palm that was placed on my neck before his hands were now on my waist. I guess this was the first time we kissed when we were sober and under the moonlight.

He's really a great kisser. He kissed me slowly at first but after quite awhile he began to faster his pace and that made me high.

I didn't know for how long we kissed till we realized that we should stop and go home. I pulled my face away and we were breathing heavily.

"That..was..good" he said and I could see his face was blushing.

"Yeah.." I said, not looking at his face. OMG I feel my cheeks were burning hot.

"Let me send you home" he offered so I quickly nodded as I was really blushing and didn't know what to do.

We went back to his car. I could still feel like he was still kissing me. We were really quiet when he started driving.

'What should I say?' I thought and at that moment, I suddenly remembered mom said that she will cook a lot tomorrow for dinner.

"My mom said she'll cook a lot tomorrow for dinner and she even invited Jeongyeon to come" I said, breaking the silence.

"Jeongyeon?" hearing his name, I could tell that Chaeyoung felt slightly jealous. It was clearly shown on his face.

"Eyy.. are you jealous? if you are, don't be.. he has a girlfriend now and he's going to get married soon" I said while looking at his reaction, a smile finally appeared on his face. I chuckled looking at his reaction.

"So.. would you like to join us tomorrow?" I asked shyly.

"Of course I will. I'm all ready to meet your mom officially" he looked at me, looking very determined. I was really happy when he said that.

Few minutes later, we finally reached in front of my house. I dislike the feeling when I had to go inside and not being with him. He noticed it and he grabbed my left hand tightly.

"Stay like this for awhile" he said, kissing the back of my hand.

I still couldn't believe that he's mine now and also the fact that we will get married one day.

"I love you.. oppa" I said looking at him. He was rubbing my ring with his thumb.

"I love you more to-" he said but then he looked at me surprised.

"Op..pa?" he responded and I could see his face was turning red.

"Yeah.. oppa. I just feel like I should call you that.. oppa" I said. Somehow I was shy too after saying it. Cringeyyy.

But anyway, my eyes landed to his reddish moist lips.. I wanted to kiss him more but I was afraid that we might couldn't stop. What's even worst, we parked the car in front of my house.

"You should go inside now" he said.

Noticing that it was already late, I finally decided to go inside. I waved at him as I got in front of my house gate and he gestured me to go inside then he'll go.

"See you tomorrow" Chaeyoung waved and he made sure that I was inside the house before he went home.

I still couldn't believe he is my boyfriend now. I couldn't help but smiling widely. I jumped to my bed, I made sure to text him before I finally drifted to sleep.

(The next day, at Chaeyoung's office)

No One POV
Chaeyoung's secretary knocked Chaeyoung's door few times but Chaeyoung didn't respond so he decided to barge in.

"Sir?" the secretary called but still there was no response.

"SIRRRR!" he raised his voice and that made Chaeyoung turned around.

"That scared me!!!" the secretary said.

"What?" Chaeyoung said weakly.

"What happened to you sir?? what's with the eyebags??" the secretary asked. He was really surprised as he saw there were eyebags under Chaeyoung's eyes.

"I can't sleep" Chaeyoung responded but his face really looked like he hadn't been sleeping all night after he met Mina last night.

"Why?"

"That's why.. I wanna ask you something"

"Should I get you a coffee or something, sir?"

"No thanks. Just sit down.."

"Okay sir"

Chaeyoung let out a deep sigh before he began to talk about his concerns.

"You.. how was your first meeting with your in laws?" Chaeyoung spoke in a low voice and that made his secretary bursted into a laughter.

"YAHH!! stop laughing.."

"Is that why you got eyebags? you got nervous? you're going to meet your lover's parents isn't?" the secretary said but still laughing too hard and Chaeyoung shyly nodded but later he smacked his secretary's back.

"So now.. tell me" Chaeyoung said.

"Okay okay.. ask me anything you want to know"
