Chapter 45

(At Mina's house)

No One POV
After the lovely dinner, the two guys excused themselves to give more quality time for the reunited family.

"It feels weird to sudddenly have an unnie" Mina squealed and couldn't seem to let go Nayeon's hands.

"But.. I feel like this shouldn't be my place" suddenly Nayeon teared up.

"Why would you say that?" Mina's mom asked.

"I'm just your step daughter and Mina's step sister. And the fact that I just appeared out of nowhere" Nayeon voiced out her thought.

"Even though you're Mina's half sister.. that doesn't make you a stranger to this family. Both of you still share the same blood. Both of you are my daughters so don't think that you are not welcome.. okay?" said Mina's mom and gave a hug to Nayeon. Mina also hugged them.

"So from now on..you call me omma" said Mina's mom and she wiped Nayeon's tears. She finally got her smile.

"Let's sleep here. Nayeon must have a lot to share" their mom suggested to sleep in one room so they could talked all night long.

"Nae omma" said the two daughters, feeling excited.

The three of them laid down on a bed with the order of Mina, Nayeon and their mom.

"I wonder why you don't appear in my dream, unnie" Mina said.

"What do you mean?" Nayeon looked at her confused not understanding what Mina is talking about.

"The female members in our family possess a special ability to have a dream that always comes true. So whatever comes in our dream, it will comes true. It runs in the family" Mina said.

"How is that possible?" Nayeon furrowed her eyebrows.

"We don't know about it but it was all started from my mom" their mom explained.

"So if I'm your real daughter I would possess the same ability too? is that it?" Nayeon asked and the two nodded.

"It's too bad" said Nayeon.

"Aniya..it's not a bad thing to not have it too" Mina said, assuring Nayeon.

"Now I understand what Jeongyeon said about you the other day.." said Nayeon and they all continued to talk about a lot things including her being adopted by her american family.

Suddenly, Nayeon mustered her courage to tell them about something that they must know.

"Omma..Mina-ya..actually there's one more thing that I would like to announce b-but.." Nayeon trailed off. The look on her eyes, she looked nervous.

"Tell us, unnie"

"Hmm" not knowing how to start telling them, she just took their hands and put them on her belly. The two of them smiled like they already knew about it.

"Yoo Junior isn't?" Mina asked and Nayeon nodded lightly.

"I just got myself a new daughter and now a grandchild?"

"YEAH.. you said you wanted a grandchild!" Mina said to mom.

"You should get married too!" mom hit Mina's arms.

"Ouch! it stings" Mina whimpered.

"Why aren't you both asking how do I get pregnant?" Nayeon was surprised about their reaction.

"We kinda expected it. It was an accident, right?" said Mina.

"But..thanks to this baby inside, your love with him are getting stronger. You two should be thankful for that" mom continued Mina's sentence.

"Marriage life is beautiful, although I only got to be with my late husband for 5-6 years but I'm still happy.." mom explained.

"I always ask Mina to get married.. I really want to have grandchildren" she added.

"You know already that he's going to be my husband anyway" Mina hissed.

"But.. the thing is he isn't your husband yet" mom and Mina were kinda arguing.

Nayeon just laughed seeing the two had some family-talk-argument.

"Should we get married at the same time?" Nayeon suddenly suggested.

"That's a good idea. You got my approval Mina-ya!" the mom joined in.

"No!! I'm so not ready for it yet. But in your case, you should get hurry before your belly showing up" Mina said pointing at Nayeon's belly and Nayeon chuckled.

"When will you two get married? have you met his parents already?" their mom asked Nayeon.

"Jeongyeon said this spring" Nayeon replied excitedly.

"Ooh I can't wait!" the mom squealed.

"I should bring you to meet his parents, omma" Nayeon said and making their mom nervous all of the sudden.

"I'm nervous but if it's for you..you can arrange the meeting anytime" the mom said and Nayeon smiled.

"Okayyy..shall we sleep now?" Mina suggested and the rest nodded.

"Goodnight" she got off the bed to turn off the light.

(The next morning)

"You're early. You're coming to pick up your wife-to-be?" Mina opened the door to see it was Jeongyeon.

"Yeah. It's my responsibility to do that" Jeongyeon replied.

"Why? because she's pregnant?" Mina said whispering to his ear, teasing him and he was shookt.

"You're busted Yoo Jeongyeon" Mina laughed.

"Sheez" Jeongyeon rolled his eyes and then he asked where Nayeon is.

"She'll be coming downstairs in a minute"

"Thanks" Jeongyeon came inside the house but he stumbled upon the mother who gave him a weird look.

"Jaesonghamnida" Jeongyeon quickly bowed as he knew that he was already busted.

"I was about to announce this last night but I find it might be wrong timing to talk about it" he said lowering his head.

"Haigoooooo you're a guy afterall" the mom smacked his back lightly. Jeongyeon looked up and saw the mom's face was lit up.

"Take care of her. Never ever hurt her. Please cherish her and your baby. Understood?" the mom gave him an advice.

"Yes maam!!" Jeongyeon said in his loud voice.

"Come eat breakfast with us" the mom invited him. He nodded and joined in.

(At Son Fashion. Co, at Chaeyoung's office)

Chaeyoung was smiling holding a book and then he put it inside a box.

"I bet she will likes it" Chaeyoung expressed.

Then, his secretary knocked the door and he asked to come inside.

"Sir, you need to come for a meeting at 10, JYP company representative will be here" he said and that made Chaeyoung's eyes widened as he wasn't expecting it.

He looked at his watch to look at the time, it was already 9.35am. He quickly wrapped the box and put it in a bag.

"Can you deliver this to Mina? but don't reveal it's from me" Chaeyoung gave the bag to his secretary. The secretary took the bag from him and nodded.

Chaeyoung stood up and put on the blazer to get ready for the meeting.

"I can't wait to know her reaction" Chaeyoung smiled.
