It had been sometime since Chris talked to me. Christmas had past and we were getting ready for the new year.

Of course I accepted Chrises offer, this was my dream. He sat me down and explained in intense detail what I was signing up for.

The late nights, the party's, the red carpets, the Hollywood creeps, everything.

And after some time to process what was happening in my life, I gracefully accepted and began my journey to fame.

December 31st 2016,

"Congratulations on your cover hitting 10 million views today, you're doing amazing super star!" Chris says

January 3rd 2017,

"I don't even know why you still have me as your manager, you're doing amazing without me- forget I just said that anyways, Zedd wants to do a track with you!" Chris says

January 6th 2017,

"Y/N, how do you feel about joining a singing group, like a girl group or maybe even a unisex group? A band manager just contacted me and said you seem perfect for what he is looking for." Chris says

"What like a band?" I ask

"Yeah but you guys would just sing, a group like "Little Mix", "6th String", "Fifty Harmony", or "party @ midnight" Chris says

"Hmm, a group..." I say

"Don't think of it as 'sharing the spotlight', think of it as being apart of something greater than yourself, a unity, a symbol. Think of it as an opportunity to grow." Chris says

"Okay Chris, it sounds intriguing"

I had done it, I had reached a level of fame I could have only dreamed of. I had millions of fans that rose practically over night, I had a faithful manager who always had my back and I had a loyal friend who I could count on.

Things were looking up for me, finally.

We had flown around America doing shows and interviews, people finally wanted to hear my voice.

But we had decided to take a little break and fly back home to y/homestate, Chris had set up a little meeting with a band manager and some potential "group mates".

I walk inside not knowing what to really expect, I was nervous. I'm not the best with meeting new people.

"Hi, your y/n y/ln, I'm Ryan Doling, I think we're supposed to wait here for this band manager guy." Ryan says

"Have you meet him yet?" I ask

"No, he contacted my manager and they set this up, have you?" Ryan asks

"No, my manager did the same thing." I say

"I don't know, I just really hope this dudes not a creep" Ryan says

Me and Ryan then sit and talk for the next 20 minutes, waiting for this band manager guy to show

"I don't think this due is coming..." Ryan says

"Yeah, you're probably right" I say

During our stay at the small cafe, me and Ryan actually talked a bit and got to know each other. We ended up exchanging numbers and we're gonna try and film a cover together being that we also found out we life like 15 minutes away from each other.

"Alright cool, text me later I really wanna do that cover" Ryan says

"Yeah of course" I say

Before I left I went to order a coffee to go.
