"Cool" I say putting my phone away

"Who was that?" Ruth asks

"Her" I say

It was the night of our single release. And minutes after it dropped, so did a few paparazzi pictures of me and Lauren.

There was me and Lauren sharing a lounge chair by the pool, me and Lauren hugging after she won the final event, Lauren touching my arm once the plane landed, and there was even one of us holding hands which was taken completely out of context.

It was the day we had all gone to the carnival and as we were walking we were all holding hands with each other, me and Lauren were just the last to let go. Partly because we didn't want to let go- but still. It was out of context....

"Shit..." I say

"Good luck explaining this one to James" Jai says

"Fuck I forgot we had an interview with James" I say

"And what about your parents?" Ruth says

My parents weren't the most excepting of the LGBT community. They were devoted Christians.

Don't get me wrong, they accepted any and everyone, they just didn't agree with certain things. I knew if I came out to them they would accept and love me still but, they wouldn't look at me the same. And that's what scared me the most.

"I don't know, I'll probably just lie to them too" I say

"Welcome back ladies and gentlemen tonight we are joined with sincerely carmen! They have a new song to preform and I have a few questions to ask. So let's get tonight started shall we!" James says

"So I've noticed you've gotten in quite the situation.." he says as the audience laughs

"I have no idea what your talking about James..." Jai says

"That's because I'm not talking about you Jai" James says once again causing us and the audience to laugh

"But don't worry you'll have you chance to come clean about some of the rumors because, later we're playing spill you guys or fill your guts!" James says as we go to commercial

"Ok so before we talk about the album and the single, y/n, is there anything you want to tell me..." James says

"Like What James?" I ask smiling

"Like maybe... some information regarding your romantic relations with a certain member from fifth harmony. Perhaps one by the name of Lauren Jauregui..." he says

"Oh that" I say

"Yeah and if you need a refresher, I have pictures" he says as he raises the leaked paparazzi photos

"James, I promise you we are just friends" I say

"I don't believe you" He sings causing the audience to laugh

"Well I'm sorry because it's the truth" I say

"So you're telling me this photo of you two cuddling on a lounge chair is platonic?" He says

"Yes. There wasn't enough chairs so we just shared one. And we weren't cuddling" I say

"Ok, and this picture of you two holding hands?" He asks

"Well that one is out of context. We were all hanging out with fifth harmony that day and we were ALL holding hands. They must've taken that picture right before we let go" I say

"I can vouch for that, we were all holding hands" Ryan says

"So you saying nothing happened over this trip between you two?" James asks

"Exactly" I say

"Alright... I guess we'll find out for sure when you have a big cow tongue in your face" He says

"I guess we will" I say
