"So on the topic of your sexuality, did you hide it because you were unsure?"

Y/N- "No... I hide it because I was scared. Saying that I was unsure was a wall that I hide behind so that I could protect myself"

"Protect yourself from what?"

Y/N- "... The truth"

It had been a few weeks and finally the rumors had died down

"Well look at that" Mason says. "You survived your first big rumor"

After Lauren tweeted about the situation, people stopped asking me questions related to it and the fandom dialed the situation down... a little bit.

"Not for long though, it's about to pick right back up" Ryan says

And he was right. The trip was filmed and was going to be airing as a YouTube series.

"Well great..." I say

"It's fine, you've said you guys were friends and hopefully the producers won't take advantage of the scenes with you and Lauren" Ruth says

And exactly 3 seconds after she said that we all bursted into laughter

"Of course, why would they add something like that to bring in more views?" I say sarcastically

Chris- "Hey solo music? Is that still a option?
Y/N- "Yeah we've talked about it and we all seem like we'd like it"
Chris- "Ok good because, I have someone who wants to work with you"
Y/N- "Oh really, who?"
Chris- "Camila Cabello"
Y/N- "Really?"
Chris- "Yeah, I know your friends with her ex band mates but I really think this could be good for you. What do you think?"
Y/N- "Yeah sounds good"
Chris- "Cool, she already has a song in mind and I thought maybe you two could go to the studio later and record it"
Y/N- "Yeah just tell me when"
*End of call

"Who was that?" Ruth asks

We just finished a show in LA and were eating dinner at in-n-out

"It was my manager Chris, he says Camila Cabello want to do a song with me...." I say

"Cool" Ryan says

"Now there's a story" Jai says

"What?" I say

"Y/n Y/ln, rumored girlfriend of a fifth harmony member collaborated with an ex member" Jai says. "Should do great"

"Shut up Jai and eat your fry's" I say throwing a fry at him

"It's the truth" he says

The next day Chris had called me and told me he booked studio time for me and Camila to record. I was all kinds of nervous; What Jai said really got to me.

"Hey! Your y/n" Camila says as she walks up to me
