*2 months later (again lol)*

"And I just want to thank every single one of you guys for coming out to celebrate me and my beautiful fiancées engagement!" Ty says
"We truly appreciate it" Lauren says
"Turn the music up!" Dinah and Normani yell followed by cheers from everyone
"Alright alright" Lauren laughs

"I can't believe she's actually getting married..." I say
"I know it's crazy" Shawn says before looking over at me. "I'm sorry y/nn"
We were sitting at the table sipping our drinks. Everyone had come down to celebrate and for the first time in a while, I saw Lauren looking genuinely happy.
"At least she's happy" Ruth says. "That has to mean something"
"Yeah..." I say staring off into a gaze
"Are you-" Shawn says
"No I'm fine it's just... I don't know" I say
"Hey guys what are you doing sitting!" Jai dances up to us and says. "It's a party!"
"Do you guys wanna dance?" Ryan asks us
"It could be good for you y/n" Ruth says
Honestly I never liked dancing. I was always to shy to do it.
"Come on, I'll stick with you" Shawn says standing up and putting his hand out
"Ahh What are you guys doing!" Lauren runs up behind us and yells
"Let's dance!" She says grabbing my hand and pulling me to the floor

After about 5 minutes of dancing I had my fill so, I decided to go to the bathroom and hid for a minute of two. I needed to escape it all. But, as I entered the bathroom there she was, standing over the sink, fixing her make up.
"So... earlier this year?" I ask as I walk into the bathroom
I had some questions that I couldn't let go unanswered.
"What?" Lauren says as she turns around. "Oh y/n it's you" she says
"Yeah" I say
"How are you liking the party?" She asks
"It's cool" I say. "So..."
"So what?" She asks
"Ty said you guys started dating earlier this year?" I say
"Oh yeah, technically we started talking in like late February or early March but-" she says
"But... it wasn't that long ago when you told me-" I start to say
"Yeah that I didn't want anything serious?" She says and I nod
"Well I didn't... me and Ty just sort of happened" she says turning away from me. "And I'm glad it did..."
"... I'm glad it did too... " I say
"Thank you" She says turning back towards me
And what happened next was completely out of my control. It was like my heart took over my mind and poured EVERYTHING out...
"Actually, no I'm not" I say
"What?" She says
"I'm not glad it happened Lauren" I say
"What are you talking about" she says
"I don't want you to marry him" I say gaining a confused look. "...God Lauren, I love you" I say
"What.." She says
"I. Love. You." I reiterate. "And I don't want you to be with Ty.... I want you to be with me...."
