It has always been y/n's dream to be a famous singer but it wasn't until y/n was 17 that she started acting on that dream. Now 18 years old and in college, y/n has wanted this dream more than ever.

"What are- I mean, you're- Uh" Lauren says followed by a laugh. "Hey" She says again
"Long time no see" I say smiling at her
"Yeah it seems like forever since I last saw you" She says
"How is-" I start to ask
"Y/n!" Ryan yells running up behind us
"Hey Ry" I laugh
"Shawn hey" Ryan says greeting him
"We really need to get everyone back together and hang, I miss you guys so much!" He says
"Ryan please, you text the group chat everyday" I laugh
"It's not enough dude. It's not enough" he says
"Hey So baby, they're posing for a pic and they asked me if we wanted to be in it" Ryan says
"Oh yeah sure" Lauren says. "Congratulations y/n... Shawn" she says as she walks away
"Yeah congratulations guys!" Ryan says
"Well that was-" Shawn starts to say
"You wanna ditch? I'm tired and hungry" I say
"Oh... yeah. We can leave if you want" Shawn hesitantly says
"Cool" I say grabbing his hand and walking out
I couldn't help it. The second I saw her all those old feelings came rushing back. Me and Shawn were building a future together but now that I had seen her again, she was the only thing that I was thinking of.

"So I was thinking, we should really start furnishing the house. I can't wait until-"
"Shawn I'm bisexual" I blurt out interrupting him
"What?" He says
"I'm bisexual and all those rumors about Lauren and I were true. We dated" I say
"Umm..." he says confused
"You don't have to say anything I just wanted you to know" I say
"Y/n-" he says
"And I know this complicates things but I'm over it and I love you and-"
"Y/n!" He yells
"Did you lover her?" He asks
"... yes" I say
"Do you still love her?" He asks
"... no" I say
I didn't know if I fully believed my words but, I had to try.
"Then I don't care." He says
"What?" I ask
"Y/n, I don't care if you are bisexual, I don't care if you used to love Lauren. All I care about is if you love me" He says. "Do you?" He asks
"You know I do" I say
"Then okay then" he smiles
"Okay then" I smile back
We then sat in a comfortable silence for a second. He was everything I could ever hope for and more... so why didn't he feel like home?
