*February 2020 ~ One year later
"Come on babe, we don't want to be late" Shawn yells to me
"Ok I'm ready, I'm ready" I say
"You look beautiful" he says
"Thank you baby" I say. "And so do you" I say
"If you don't win tonight I hope you know that the academy is going to be receiving a highly detailed letter about how incompetent they are" he says
"You're an idiot" I laugh. "I love you" I say kissing his lips
"Let's go" he smiles

Since the small break of Sincerely Carmen, I decided not to hold back. I released a few singles with some prominent people in the industry and I went back to one of my old roots, acting.
I had actually been nominated for an Oscar! This year though started or rough, was looking up. I was in the prime of my career.
We were at the Grammys and so far I'd won, Best pop duo/group performance for a song I did with Zedd, best r&b song for a song I did with Bruno mars, and the last one I was nominated for was best new artist...
"And the winner is.... Y/n Y/Ln!"
"Oh my God" I say
"Babe get up!" Shawn says as he helps me out of my chair
"Shawn wtf I actually did it" I say as I hug him
"I'm not surprised, you deserve this" he says in my ear
As we pull away my heart was beating a million beats a minute, I was completely shocked. I could nearly stand straight.
"Thank you I- I never ever- ever thought I win this and I'm a little in shock right now so bear with me" I say hearing laughter from the crowd
"The beginning of my career was a dream come true. Never did I know that one video would forever change my life- I sure hoped it would but that's besides to point" I say
"And the rising action to this moment was rocky. I've witnessed something's and I've learned from it all. It wasn't easy getting to the point I'm at now but, I did it and I couldn't be more happy than I am right now. And now we're here, at the climax of my life- or maybe it's the falling action I don't know" I joke
"What I'm trying to say is, I'm where I'm meant to be and I wouldn't be here without my past and the journey I was put on as yeah" I say
"I wanna thank my amazing fans and my family, my staff and crew but, I also want to thank my amazing boyfriend. Without you I wouldn't have nearly as much courage as I do now so thanks babe you rock" I say smiling
"Thanks to the academy for this amazing award and FLINT STILL DOESN'T HAVE CLEAN WATER!" I yell before exiting the stage

We were now at a Grammys after party. It had been a pretty crazy night. I had ended up taking home 3 Grammys that night and Shawn had even gotten one. We were on a happiness high and I didn't think anything or anyone could change that.
"You did absolutely amazing tonight, congratulations on the awards!" Camila says to me
I hadn't seen her in awhile but, ever since me and Shawn started dating we had grown closer.
"Dude I was freaking out! I still don't think I've fully grasped what just happened" I laugh
"You'll get used to it. Once you've scored your first Grammy it gets a little easier each year" she says
"Cam! You just got your first Grammy last year stop acting all big" I laugh
"First two Grammys" she emphasizes
"Whatever" I laugh
"Where's Shawn?" I ask
"I don't know, he walked off that way and I haven't seen him sense" Camila says
"Ok I'm gonna try and find him" I say as I look around for him
And all of a sudden there he was, talking to someone I hadn't seen or spoken to in months.
"Hey" I say
"Hey..." She says surprised
