"Fuck" I say reaching towards my head
We had all fallen asleep on the last movie we watched and for some reason I was feeling an intense pain on my head
"Sorry, I had to wake you up somehow" Lauren says
"Did you hit my head?" I ask
"No..." she says
"Why did you wake me up anyways?" I ask as I sit up
"I'm leaving, Ty's picking me up" she says
"Wtf isn't it night time" I say
"Y/n, babe it's almost 9 in the morning" she says
"Oh" I say. "That's still a fucked up time to wake up" I say as I sit up
"Really" she laughs. "Because I think most people would actually disagree"
"Well they're fucked up to" I laugh
"Whatever I have to go and I didn't want to leave you down here alone" she says
"Where's Shawn?" I say as I look around
"He's in the kitchen making breakfast I think" she says. "Maybe he's trying to show you that-"
"Lauren." I say
"What? Maybe you should give him a chance, what do you have to lose?" She says
I didn't know what was worse, living with my ex and constantly being reminded that I wrecked his future plans or having my other ex whom I'm in love with trying to set us back up together all the while be oblivious to what was standing in front of her.
"Why are you so blind" I say under my breath
I couldn't understand how she couldn't see me.
"What?" She asks
"Nothing... I don't want to be with Shawn anymore" I say
"Why? Did he do something?" She asks
"No, technically I did" I say walking towards the front door
"What do you mean?" She says following me
"Let's just say if it wasn't for me and my confused ass heart maybe we would have never even been together..." I say
"What are you confused about?" She asks
"Damn you has so many questions" I laugh
"Yeah I do" She says standing like she wasn't going to move until I answered her
"I'm, I'm not confused, not anymore... I was when I was with him but, I'm not anymore" I say
"... You still haven't answered my question" she says
"It's not important" I say looking away from her
