After the movie ended everyone went to the after party.
I was with Ryan but, I still felt a little out of place.
People kept coming up to me and talking as if they already knew exactly who I was. People were surrounded me so that the press could take pictures. And a lot of paparazzi where there taking pictures of me and who ever I touched hands with... I just needed a break.
"Hey, I'm gonna go to the bathroom real quick"
"Ok" Ryan says
I then make my way to the bathroom with hopes that it's empty.
Once I get there I see and hear nothing so I let out a happy sigh.
I pat my makeup a bit and fix my hair and then she walks in.
"Hey y/n..."
"Hey Lauren..." I reply
"Did you come to take a breather too?"
"Yeah I just needed a little break from it all, you know"
"Yeah, I know how that feels. Your first after party?"
"Yep" I say
"Yeah... you'll get used to it, find the right people and they'll make anything enjoyable" she says
"Yeah so... are you talking to me now?..."
"Huh?" She says
"I mean all night, and at the movie, you just kind of-"
"Oh yeah know I just wasn't in a good mood today, I've been working my ass off and..." she stops for a second and looks over at me "I'm tired that's all."
"Oh"
"But I mean... didn't you kind of start the whole 'not talking thing'?" She says
"What are you taking about? I know I'm a reserved person but, I definitely tried talking to you" I says
"No I mean, earlier, with the texts"
"What text- oh, That was you?" I say
"Yeah, I like said my name and everything..."
"Oh, you must have sent your name after I blocked the number" I say
"You blocked me?" She says with a smirk
"Yeah, I thought you were a stalker, sorry" I laugh
"No okay, it's fine, I get it" She says trying not to burst out laughing
"Stop!" I laugh
"No it's just, wow I didn't know you were so full of your self" she says walking over to the sink, "thinking you have stalkers and everything, wow y/n you've changed" she sarcastically says
"Whatever, and I'm not full of myself" I say and playfully push her arm
"Excuse you, that's my arm" she says as she pushes me back
We laugh for a second and then in the midst of pushing each other's arm we get closer, until eventually, we just have our hands on each other's arm and we just stare at each other.
It was in that moment when I saw my life flash before my eyes... I saw a life of adventure and happiness. Love and laughter, family and friends. I saw myself laying on the sand on some island. I saw a car, convertible, the wind blowing through my hair, the smell of the ocean, the sparkle of the stars and I saw her, Lauren... and me hand in hand. She was mine, and it looked perfect.
"Hey you're y/n right? I'm Katy Perry" Katy interrupts me and Lauren's moment
"Yeah, hi"
Lauren then squeezes out of the bathroom.
"Look I think you're an amazing singer and actress evidently" she says raising her eyebrows, "but I've got one word of advice"
She comes closer and whispers in my ear, "get out while you still can" she then comes forward and smiles at me. "Ok shall we take a picture?"

That was the last time I had really seen the girls. Sure if we saw each other at an event we spoke but, nothing really beyond that. And sure, I still considered them friends but, we didn't really hangout much, we were all really busy.
That was January, it was now December 2017. I had dropped out of college and started pursuing this dream... despite what Katy Perry told me.
I decided to stick with my promise and join the singing group, we were called Sincerely, Carmen.
In May my tv show aired, blended was now one of the most watched tv show on abc. Also me and the group released an ep titled, maybe, it was our intro to the world and it hit number one opening day!
June, we spent working on the album. Our fan base had grown rapidly with our combined fandoms and they were hungry.
In July we finish filming season one of Blended and we started putting the finishing touches on the album ... Later that month we released it. Our first album, self titled, was done!

"Woooo! Congratulations you guys! At midnight the album was released, and right now at 6am this album has reached NUMBER 1 WORLD WIDE!" Mason shouts
We all jump up and scream. Our entire team, everyone, we all celebrated this amazing accomplishment. We did, first album, within the first year being together, Number 1!

"Hello, today I am joined by Sincerely, Carmen, and we're gonna play a few games, have a few laughs and hopefully, get to know the members of the highly successful group. Are y'all guys ready?" The interviewer asks us
"Yeah"
"Yep"
"I am"
"Let's go!"
"Alright so first a few questions from some fans", "Who is the parent of the group?"
"That's completely Ruth!" Jai says
"Yeah were her children" Ryan says
"I'm her favorite" I say
"I'm the mom I guess" Ruth says
"Wait? I'm kind of fatherly" Ryan says
"No bro! You and y/n are always up to something mischievous" Jai says
"Yeah, I feel like Ryan's my twin who always bothers me but we also f*"k sh!t up together- oops sorry" I laugh, " Jai's like my older brother who I can always count on for like anything whether it be, advice or mischievous things" I say with emphasis on mischievous
"And Ruth is like the sister that I've always wanted, she's perfect in every way and she keeps me sane around these two" I say pointing to Jai and Ryan
"Whatever me and Jai aren't that bad!" Ryan says
"Yeah..." Ruth says and we all laugh
"Ok ok, next question

And now, December 2017, we were on a small break from touring to celebrate Christmas and New Years with our families.
We were at such a high point in our career, and it was just getting started.
