Chapter 11

Team 10 House
2 AM

Narrator: Jake got home and had a few drinks. He was tipsy and hungry so he went to the kitchen.

Tony: Hey bro how was it
Jake: It was LIT
Tony: Cool just have one question
Jake: *giggles* WHAT
Tony: What is this?

Narrator: Tony showed Jake pictures of him with the mysterious girl. The paparazzi had caught them together, they looked all smiles. Jake quickly snapped out of it and thought of Erika. He knew he didn't do anything wrong but they had made it seem like they were on another date.

Jake: Um.
Tony: You just got her back bro
Jake: We're not together
Tony: Don't you want to be?
Jake: Yes but it's complicated
Tony: you wanna know what I think?! That's bullshit. You're not ready to settle down, that's why you're hanging with this chick.
Jake: I guess maybe, idk man. I don't want to lose her is that selfish?
Tony: Yes, you're leading her on and making her think you will commit. But if you're not then you need to end it now and let her be happy even if it's with someone else
Jake: *angry* NO
What should I do, she can't see these photos until I explain
Tony: Idk bro she's asleep

Narrator: Jake runs upstairs to his room and sees Erika asleep. She looked so peaceful. He then searched for her phone and noticed it dead. He charged it and blocked the site and put it on Do Not Disturb. He felt guilty for doing that but he at least wanted to explain to her first.
He took off his shirt and put sweats on and climbed into bed. She slightly woke and got closer to his chest to cuddle.

Erika was up before Jake and she went downstairs to make breakfast. She was finally feeling better but was taking it easy on certain things. By the time she finished cooking and ate Jake still wasn't up. She got really bored and everyone else was off doing their own things so she wanted to go shopping. She grabbed her stuff and headed out.

She felt happy being able to shop and get some fresh air. She got really hungry and stopped to get a smoothie and a quick bite. As she was eating a guy with a camera begins to ask her so many questions. She tried to ignore him but he kept going.

Paparazzi: Erika! How do you feel now that Jake is dating? Will you be dating also? Do you approve of her and would you become friends?
Erika: Jake isn't dating anyone, he's been focused on his career and Team 10's
Paparazzi: Yes he is we got him out with a blonde hottie yesterday
Erika: He was at a work event
Paparazzi: Erika i was there and they were getting cozy. I guess you two aren't friendly exes after all. This is great! anything else you might want to add?
Erika: Get the hell away from me

Narrator: Erika became annoyed and just wanted to head home. She went a walk to clear her mind.
After a few hours later, she made it back to the team 10 house. Everyone was out except for Tony. As soon as he saw her he needed to talk to her, so he brought her to the office.

Tony: Rik, I know you know.
Erika: No clue what you're talking about
Tony: Don't do that, I saw the video of you and the paparazzi.
Erika: Whatever. We're not together, he can do what he wants.
Tony: Rik, I see the hurt in your eyes. Don't shut us out. We're here for you
Erika: Thanks Toner. Well can you help me move my stuff back to my condo today?
Tony: are you sure that's what you want to do?
Erika: Positive, I've healed up and it would be best.
Tony: If you say so, let's start packing then.

Narrator: About 2 hours later they finished packing and by this time Nick, Chad and Kade were back. Tony had filled them in and they just helped out. None of them wanted to ask questions. The cars were loaded and they left.
Kade and Tony finished helping getting everything out and left..leaving Erika alone with her thoughts. She charged her phone and received a ton of notifications when it turned on. She was confused and saw that her phone was on Do Not Disturb and she knew Jake didn't want her to see the photos and videos of him with that girl. Especially since he tried to block the site
