Chapter 1

Jakes POV:
By now most of you don't know me as just that kid from vine but instead as founder of Team 10. Business man, ambitious at the age of 20. I couldn't have done it alone. I have an amazing team, and one amazing person who's been with me through this journey.

Team 10 House
Thursday
8:30 AM

Jake: Erika i need you in the office to go over all the upcoming events. Please close the door
Erika: Sure what's up?
Jake: Actually what i really wanted to talk about is kind of personal. Erika i like you i have been showing it these past months. What can i do for you to give me a chance?
Erika: Jake..
Jake: I know! Who cares about the past and her. Ugh look i want to prove it to you. Let me take you out to dinner?
Erika: I'm just worried about what everyone will think. She was my best friend, she hurt me too
Jake: No one has to know, we can keep it a secret for now. Please!! Say yes!
Erika: *sigh* Ok I will go to dinner with you, because I'm hungry and we will talk. That's it
Jake: *giggles* Anything for you! Also I need you to be ready in 1 hour. Pack a weekend bag and don't forget your passport. Oh! One last thing pack something a little fancy.
Erika: Jake! You and I have meetings to attend!!
Jake: Something fancy! You have one hour!

Narrator: Jake quickly runs out of the office and heads upstairs leaving Erika in shock. She gets up and heads to her room to pack wondering what Mr. Paul is up to

1 hour later

Narrator: After they finished packing Jake and Erika head outside to meet their driver. Soon enough they arrive to the airport and check in. As they are being escorted Erika soon realizes she has no idea where they are off to and is speechless to see a jet waiting for their arrival.

Erika: Jake we are not going in that right?
Jake: *laughs* Of course not don't be silly!
Erika: NOT FUNNY! Jake where are we going?! What have you planned?!
Jake: I'm not saying a word. Just enjoy your time on the jet please

Narrator: As they board the jet Erika can't help but wonder what did she agree to.
During the flight Erika had fallen asleep. Jake stayed up, he just stared and watched her sleep a few times. He was thinking about how beautiful she was and why did he get so lucky for even having her in his life.

8 1/2 hours later

Narrator: The jet had arrived to its destination. Erika woke up and rubbed her eyes, to her surprise she saw Jake watching her with a smile.

Erika: How long have you been watching me?
Jake: Not long *smirks*
Erika: Yeah sure! Are you going to tell me where we are now?

Narrator: Jake gets up and ignores her question as he makes his way to to the exit. Erika follows feeling very irritated at this point.

Jake: WELCOME TO MIAMI!
Erika: Wow! This is actually a really good surprise! I love Miami!!
Jake: See..maybe I'm not as bad as you think *winks*
Erika: One step at a time!
Jake: *laughs* Alright come on, let's go to where we're staying.

Narrator: They left the airport with the driver who had been waiting for them. He's driving through South beach and makes a turn into a gated neighborhood. Erika stares out the window in confusion but stays silent. They finally pull up in front of a beautiful modern mansion. They step out and Jake heads to the front door

Erika: Jake why can't you be normal and just stay at a hotel! We're here only for the weekend right?
Jake: *smiles* Why would I stay at a hotel if we can just stay at our new house!
Erika: Our?
Jake: Well yes, Team 10, you, me. This is ours and we can spend time here. I'm always here working on business it just makes sense to purchase a home here.
Erika: Well I suppose. What am I going to do with you Paul?
Jake: Love me
Erika: *laughs nervously*

Narrator: They went inside and Erika saw how gorgeous it was. It was furnished with a very calming vibe to it. She loved it! As she continued she found that it had 5 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths. A pool and jacuzzi, a bar outside and inside, a movie theater in the basement and the best part was the gym. She couldn't believe how nice this place was. Jake went to the master bedroom and Erika stayed in one of the other rooms down the hall. It was nearly 7. They had already gotten all settled and Jake had his evening planned to take Erika out to dinner. He knew she loved being here in Miami and couldn't wait to treat her like a princess

Jake: Hey Erika! I have something planned so be ready in 1 hour. Wear the fancy outfit I told you to bring!
Erika: Can you at least tell me where we're going?
Jake: Hmm..nope
Erika: Ughhhhhh

Narrator: Jake immediately got dressed after his shower. He wore black pants with a white button down shirt and a maroon velvet suit jacket. He put on his pair of red bottom black sneakers and fixed his hair as normal.
Erika wore a black two piece latex top and mini skirt. She put on a black pair of ankle heels and had her hair curled in loose waves. Her make up was done nicely and she had a simple silver pendant on. She didn't want to wear much jewelry since her outfit was going to draw attention already especially since her top revealed her cleavage quite a bit. But she didn't care she was in Miami and she wanted to look good. She makes her way to meet Jake in the living room.

Jake: Wow
Erika: Do I look okay?
Jake: You look..Wow
Erika: Oh okay
Jake: I mean you look beautiful, breathtaking actually
Erika: *blushes* Thanks Jake. Are you ready to go?
Jake: Yeah let's go

Narrator: They head out and they make their way to Komodo. Jake and Erika get out of the car and head inside. They wait for the hostess to realize they are there but she was too focused on her phone. Jake nicely gets her attention and as she looks up her eyes widen.

Bianca: Mr. Paul! I am so sorry for being rude, please follow me we have your table ready.
Jake: No worries, thank you

Narrator: They are taken to a very nice table with a view of the restaurant.

Bianca: Can I get you anything to start off with? Drinks or appetizers?
Erika: I'll have water please
Jake: I'll have water as well, I am ready to order. Erika how about you?
Erika: Yeah actually, can I have the Komodo Chicken salad
Jake: And I'll have the Salmon Tacos
Bianca: Sure I will pass it along to the chef and I'll be back with the water.
Jake: Thank you for saying yes to dinner
Erika: Like I said I'm hungry
Jake: *laughs* You're so beautiful. I know I'm not good at emotions and feelings but with you I feel like I can be myself and show that. Something about you brings the good in me
Erika: That is so sweet, I always said we make a great team.
Jake: Be with me, let me show you and prove to you that I want to be with you
Erika: Idk..I'm scared. Everyone will think of me as the girl who went after her best friends ex and everyone on team 10 will judge me and treat me differently.
Jake: DON'T SAY THAT! I'm sorry for shouting but it makes me mad you keep thinking that. I don't want to pressure you, just think about it and know that I'm serious about you. Whatever it takes

Narrator: Jake was staring into her eyes and Erika knew he was being genuine. They ate and we're heading home. Erika was silent the whole ride and when they arrived she sat by the kitchen counter. Jake went to go change into sweats and came back out. He noticed she was still sitting there and tapped her shoulder

Jake: Erika are you okay you've been silent this whole time
Erika: I really hope I don't regret this
Jake: Regret what

Narrator: She got up and reached for his face. She pressed her lips on his and quickly began to make out with him...
