Chapter 34

Team 10 House

Narrator: Matt was about to show him the footage until Jake got a phone call. He answered and became angry as he sent Matt out of the room.

Christian: Hey man, how you been?
Jake: Fuck you. I know you tried to kill us the other night, I just don't have proof
Christian: Wow I'm deeply offended. Anyways I'm calling you because your loving wife has been lying to you.
Jake: The hell are you talking about?
Christian: I sent you an email. I suggest you read carefully. Man it feels good to have her back. Take care man

Narrator: As soon as Christian hung up Jake received the email from him. He opened it and attached were messages from Erika that looked to have been photoshopped badly. As he kept reading the email he mentioned him coming over every time Jake wasn't home and lastly was a screenshot of him with Erika in the kitchen from the security camera. He immediately yelled for Matt to come back to the office.

Matt: Sir? Are you..
Jake: Just answer this, was that man in my house?
Matt: Well..
Jake: Yes or no will do!
Matt: Yes but...
Jake: Leave!
Matt: Sir there's something you need to know before..
Jake: I SAID LEAVE!

Narrator: He slammed everything off the desk onto the floor. He was angry he thought Christian was lying but he was telling the truth.
He went downstairs to find Erika in the living room with the rest of Team 10. They were all watching a movie. He went and grabbed Erika by the arm roughly.

Erika: Ow! Jake what the hell!
Jake: SHUT UP
Erika: You're hurting me!
Jake: I don't fucking care

Narrator: He took her upstairs and by this time Tony and Kade were yelling at Jake to release her. He threw her on the bed and slam the door locked.

Jake: You disgust me!
Erika: Jake, what the hell got into you
Jake: You're a liar, manipulator and worst of all a cheater
Erika: WHAT!
Jake: Christian told me of your little dates at the house, I can't believe you.
Erika: I can explain..
Jake: I DON'T WANT TO FUCKING HEAR IT
Kade: JAKE OPEN THE DOOR NOW!
Jake: PACK YOUR STUFF AND GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE AND OUT OF MY LIFE
Erika: Jake please let me explain, for the sake of our baby
Jake: For all I know that baby isn't even mine!

Narrator: When Erika heard those words it broke her. Tears rolled down her face fast. She wasn't going to argue with this man, his words hurt and most of all his inability to take the time and listen to her hurt her even more.

Erika: Fine Jake, I'll leave.
Jake: Perfect, there's a ticket to Nashville with your name on it. It was my surprise but you don't deserve my love or my surprises for you.
Erika: I'm not going to argue with you but I want you to know when I leave today I don't ever want to hear or see you again. I want the divorce and I officially want nothing from you. My baby and I will be fine without you. My baby only needs me. Enjoy your life Jake.

Narrator: She packed her things and unlocked the door. Kade and Tony ran inside. They had heard everything and they knew there was no way to stop this until Jake cools off. They helped her get her stuff, she took what she could and Nick agreed to keep the rest of her stuff in storage. She took Viah with her knowing Jake wouldn't take care of her. As she was saying goodbye to everyone Matt yelled for Jake to come out of his room.

Matt: Sir you're making a huge mistake and I know you don't want to hear it but I refuse to continue to work for you and I will leave just like Mrs. Paul.
Jake: Yeah like I give a fuck, go ahead and leave with that lying bitch.
Erika: Matt, don't listen to him. He's too blind to see what he's doing, I will never forgive him for this. This time he hurt me bad! I still love you Jake, I never did anything to break our marriage! Goodbye forever my love.

She got in the car with Nick, Kade and Tony who were driving her to the airport at that moment. Jake watched them leave and then went to his room. He began to destroy everything in sight. Chance ran up to stop him and Jake fell to his knees. Part of him wanted to run after her and forgive her but the other part knew it wouldn't work it out. She lied to him.

Many hours later Erika had arrived back in Nashville. Her mom and sister were waiting to pick her up. She was quiet the ride home and they knew not to ask her anything. She made it to the and went straight to her room to sleep. Her stepdad and brother took care of the luggages.

Later in the night she felt the need to throw up so she ran to the bathroom. She felt guilty her poor baby had to deal with that negativity. Her sister Moe had woken up and saw her on the floor by the toilet throwing up. Great she had been caught.

Moe: Whats going on Rik? Talk to me
Erika: I'm pregnant..
Moe: Congrats sis!
Erika: Thanks..
Moe: But?
Erika: Jake and I are getting divorced
Moe: Why?
Erika: He thinks I cheated all because of a psycho stalker ex. He threatened me and Jake. He would kill us if I didn't allow him over, he almost did kill us about a month ago.
Moe: Rik, I'm so sorry! You have me and the family to support you.
Erika: I really don't want to tell mom.
Moe: I'll tell her but you know she will ask you later on.
Erika: Yeah I'll be fine by then.
Moe: Ok let's get you cleaned up and I'll sleep with you to keep you company.
Erika: Thank you sis

Narrator: Since that night Erika did her best to forget Jake and everything else in LA.
It had been 2 weeks since she left and since she checked her phone.
Jake had been drinking every night, he was angry with Erika, with himself and with the world.
The following day Kevin had managed to get him sobered up since they were getting ready to fly to Italy to film his movie. He didn't have the support he was needing. Things had been bad between the rest of Team 10 and Jake. They knew he was wrong but no matter what they tried he refused to listen.
He left the house without saying goodbye and was on his way to the jet.

Christian's House

Narrator: Christian was feeling satisfied after his call with Jake. If he can't have her then Jake can't either. He had made up screenshots to show messages from Erika. And managed to break into the security system since he knew Jake had the house covered in cameras. He felt kinda bad but he had one more surprise for Jake...too bad he wouldn't find out until he got to Italy.
Still he was having a hard time accepting the fact that Erika would never be with him. This was all her fault..she dumped him and left him broken. His love for her was now turned into hatred. He wanted to make her feel the same way he did and this was the perfect start.

Basilicata, Italy

Many hours later Jake had arrived in Southern Italy, and he was already on his way to set. There was no time to waste so production decided to start filming the first scene immediately.

As Jake was in his dresser getting ready he kept thinking about Erika. About that night, the hurt in her eyes and how she didn't fight back. She gave up, that angered him. But he was glad to find out how much of a liar she was.
He finished up with hair and makeup and walked out to set to meet Mr. Lynch who was already talking to Kevin. Kevin had a worried look on his face and just glanced at Jake.

Jake: Mr. Lynch good to see you.
Lynch: There's my star! Are you ready to shoot?
Jake: Always
Lynch: How's the wife doing?
Jake: Fine I guess.
Lynch: Oh alright well I was just telling Kevin that we have a lead female role.
Jake: Oh yeah, where is she?
Joy: Hey Jake
Lynch: Ah there she is, have the two of you met?
Jake: We have
Joy: It's going to be great working with you Jake.
Jake: Yeah
Joy: I'm excited to be working with you
Jake: Kevin, can we talk?
Kevin: Yeah let's go to your trailer
Jake: Kevin what the fuck, I can't work with her!
Kevin: I know but this is big Jake. Don't walk away now
Jake: I can't bro, I just can't.
Kevin: As your friend and not just your manager I'm going to tell you to give this a chance. If you give it one month and you are still not feeling it then we can leave.
Jake: You're not messing with me right?
Kevin: No I'm serious, after a month and you still don't want to be involved we will leave.
Jake: *sighs* alright, I'll give it a shot.

Authors note: WOW! This is by far the longest chapter. Hopefully you guys liked it? Lowkey I shed a few tears when I was writing this chapter. Christian did what he said he would do and that is ruin the marriage between Jake and Erika.
