Chapter 6

Narrator: Nick couldn't believe what just happened. He rushed upstairs and tried to Jake to come to his senses.

Nick: Jake get back down there and talk to her! She's packing up
Jake: Good
Nick: You're really going to let her go just like that?!
Jake: She had plenty of chances to tell me! And she didn't!! You were right I should've listened
Nick: No I was wrong! You and Erika are an amazing duo, a power couple.
Jake: We were until I found out she's just like the rest.

Narrator: An hour goes by and Erika is getting ready to leave. Everyone is crying as she is saying her goodbyes to each one. Jake comes out of his room and watches her. His eyes filled with anger. She hears Kelly honk out front.  Chance and Tony help her with her bags. Jake goes to the balcony and watches from up there.

Tony: Erika don't go! Stay, let him sleep on it and when he wakes up he'll realize he overreacted.
Narrator: She notices him watching and shouts so he can hear her
Erika: NO! IM OK WITH LEAVING BECAUSE I GOT HURT TOO! THE LOVE OF MY LIFE CHOSE TO HEAR ONE SIDE OF THE STORY. HE DIDN'T CARE. HE DIDN'T CARE THAT I COULDN'T SPEAK. INSTEAD HE THREW ME OUT, AND NEVER WANTS TO SEE ME AGAIN. WELL I NEVER WANT TO SEE HIM AGAIN TOO!

Narrator: Jake leaves and goes to the office. Kade follows him to speak to him

Kade: Jake go after her
Jake: No I meant what I said
Kade: You're not the only one that cares about her or lives here you know. We love her she's our family
Jake: I said no and that's final
Kade: I hope when you realize what a big mistake you made it's not too late. That woman did so much for you. I can't be here, I'll be staying at a hotel if you need me

Narrator: Chance and Anthony came back inside. They hugged the rest of Team 10 who was crying by the front door. Jake didn't care, he just wanted to numb the pain so he got up and left the house. He ended up at a strip club. He drank and watched the girls. He declined the lap dances, he just wanted to sit there.

2 weeks later

Narrator: Time has passed and Jake was still angry. He began to bring girls home but he would t sleep with them. He couldn't, after all he was still hurting. His best friends were different around him, Kade refuses to speak to him and Nick couldn't even look at him. He was a mess.
Meanwhile Erika had stayed with Kelly for a few days and then she got her own apartment. She was still hurt but tried to keep her mind off of it by spending time with her girls.

Tuesday
Erika's Apartment
8:45 AM

Narrator: Time had passed and Jake was still angry. He pushed everyone away from him. And was spiraling out of control.
Erika and Kade became closer, and Jake knew. Tensions were rising between them, their friendship was on a thin line. Today's vlog Jake was planning to teach Justin how to get girls.
Jake, Justin and Kade get into the car and make their way to the middle of Hollywood.
Everything was going good, Justin was able to to get numbers from 3 different girls. They decide to go have lunch at a nearby cafe.

Jake: Justin my boy nice job
Justin: Thanks I was trying not to piss myself the whole time
Jake: *laughs* Kade and I can help you with the first date. Kade knows about girls, right?
Kade: Whatever man
Jake: can you drop the attitude
Kade: I'm chill
Jake: are you though? Anytime we're together there's a problem.
Kade: Don't start. You know why. I'm done with this discussion
Jake: why are you on her side?! She lied to me!
Kade: YOU DIDN'T EVEN GIVE HER A CHANCE, YOU JUST GOT RID OF HER
Jake: fuck that I'm not wrong
Kade: Drop it
Jake: NO
Kade: I'm leaving

Narrator: Kade gets up and walks out. Jake follows him and continues to argue. As he's walking to cross the street he spots Erika. He runs her way and tells her to follow him. Jake spots them both, at first he froze but his adrenaline kicked in and he wanted to confront them. He runs and gets them to stop.

Jake: No wonder you're so defensive! How long have you guys been sleeping together
Kade: WTF do you hear yourself right now
Jake: it all makes sense, you're always together and you get up to leave and she's here
Erika: You're ridiculous. Goodbye
Jake: I'm not done with you
Erika: well I am, I don't have to stay here and hear your nonsense
Kade: I'll stop bye later Rik
Jake: Yeah walk away from the truth!!
Kade: you're an asshole, you just ruined your chances of ever fixing your relationship

Narrator: Jake got angry and punched Kade. Kade pushed him back. They were hitting each other until Justin and Erika ran over to separate them. Kade has blood all over his face and Jake had scratches on his.

Erika: OMG KADE! Let's get out of here
Kade: you can forget me, you lost a friend Jake!

Narrator: They leave to Erika's so he can get cleaned up. Jake furiously watched them leave together. He couldn't help but stare at Erika. Deep down he knew he was still in love with her.
